Bright said Thursday that he will enter the race in the next two weeks, while Mace has set an announcement for Saturday at 9 a.m.

So Graham has two or three challengers.
They will split the Anti-Graham vote and
he gets re-elected.

As usual, conservatives are set up to split the vote against worms such as Graham. The TEA Party should endorse one candidate and push the others out of the way. They may have been paid by the GOP-e to divide and conquer for Linseed.

Not how it works. If he doesn't get a majority, it goes to a run-off election.

Nice job by Graham to put up some phony candidates to split the opposition vote.

Exactly! These three should get together and pick the one among them to compete with the full support of the others, assuming that they are all conservatives.

Not how it works. Think about how Cruz pushed Dewhurst into a run off election. Cruz won.

It's a primary. The more the merrier. As long as Graham doesn't get 50%+ of the vote, it goes to a run-off with just one opponent.

Glad to hear that about South Carolina.
Is voting in primary elections in South Carolina limited to
registered Republicans only? Is it an open primary?

It is open. The Pansey Graham wing of the SC Republican party has been keeping it that way to try and rig things for themselves. It doesn’t help them a whole lot anymore. These days, any one of that crew who allows themselves to actually have to stand for a real primary (A whole lot of them got out of it last election by a ruling from a friendly judge invalidating all of their primary opponents(!)) have been given the boot.

Exactly! Just like the Presidential primaries. The only way SC conservatives will get Sweet Lindsey out is to unite behind one challenger
whoever that may be.

As long as the first round losers unite behind the opponent against Graham in the runoff, that will work. I hope hard feelings will not hinder a united effort.
