Leno on Congress's ObamaCare Exemption: Should Be the 'Do As We Say, Not As We Do Act?'

Jay Leno took a comedic swipe at ObamaCare Friday.

After informing a somewhat stunned crowd about the exemption members of Congress were given from the Affordable Care Act, the NBC Tonight Show host said, "Why don't they call it what it really is - the 'Do As We Say, Not As We Do Act?'"

JAY LENO: Well, it was reported today that the White House just approved an exemption in ObamaCare coverage for Congress and members of their staff.

Notice the reaction from the crowd? Not very pleased to hear this news, were they?

But I digress:

LENO: Yeah, well, members complained that the Affordable Care Act will cost them thousands extra a year in premiums. Wait, it's their bill. If it's too expensive, why did they name it the Affordable Care Act? You see? Why don't they call it what it really is - the "Do As We Say, Not As We Do Act?" That is what the name of, that's the name of the bill. Exactly, exactly.

'A somewhat stunned crowd' ... And therein lies the problem. The death knell of society, so to speak. Citizens that keep their heads buried in the sand, and a Media that keeps them uniformed regarding our Government's criminal actions and their transformation from 'Public Servants' to Royalty.
