"... which will destroy [accomplish exactly what the globalist who placed the halfrican post turtle in the white hut intended] this country."

The Constitutional Republic that was America is no more. The demise has happened over a period of decades, but the final throat slitting occurred under little barry bastard boy emperor, because he was the only available turtle stupid enough to believe he would make himself 'non-expendable'. So they placed the racist drug addled sexual degenerate on the post and spewed their poison from his beak.

Americans, make your time. All your society are belong to devils.

If the McRubio-Schumer amnesty bill passes, we will bring in 33 million legal immigrants over the next ten years, which is more than we brought in over the previous 40 years. With 22 million Americans underemployed or unemployed, why are we doing this?

The kickbacks the pols are getting are worth more (to the pols) than this great nation? That's the only answer I can come up with, as this is absolute insanity.

Who pays the tariff?

Moslems and other America hating liberals...otherwise, people would vote with their pocketbooks.

It would certainly encourage domestic development. You could start with a modest rate and start ramping it up as domestic development increased.

Given a future business friendly power structure in DC, and since there is much untapped resource on federal lands, and since (theoretically) the American People own those mineral rights; why couldn't/shouldn't there be strings attached to the disposition of that oil?

Why should a lessee be able to sell that crude into the global market without an export penalty, when it could be dumped here to increase domestic supply and lower the cost?

Especially if that lessee happens to be a foreign interest.

And the fact that Blacks fall for this is beyond sad. All Blacks care about is the color of Obama’s skin...nothing more.

Sad but true.

We’ve got a bunch of idiot media who can’t figure out to ask, the phone call comes in at 3:42, and yet Panetta has no idea what he is supposed to do until 5:30? Who sat on that info and did nothing for that long?

The media is simply part of the op at this point. They will do what is necessary to protect the Comrade. Stalin would be jealous.

Which is that it’s not a good idea to encourage this sort of thing as we have a congress elected by the people for a reason.

The point really is also that if you have pro-American leadership then you can count on pro-American ops coming out of Langley.

—Like in the pre-Church Committee years when many of the world’s petty dictators were OUR petty dictators.

In fact, I’d go so far as to say that if JFK had it to do all over again knowing how it came out, Howard Hunt and the boys would have had all the air support they needed at Bay of Pigs. And Havana would be a helluva vacation destination today.

There’s a current thread up here discussing a report that Benghazi leads back to Iran, NOT alkida, and also one purporting that the CIA moved missiles out of Libya to Syria.

It would not surprise me if Iran proved to be al Qaeda’s number one stake-horse at this point. A lot of the Saudi money trails have fallen victim of post-9/11/2001 surveillance. The Iranians are much more difficult to track at this point.

In fact, now that Pennsylvania and Ohio allow “fracking,” the result is economies of BOTH states are starting to turn around, especially with natural gas production.

####

We can also imagine how much better the economies of the Gulf states (our Gulf of Mexico!} would be if Obama had not shut down oil production after the BP spill.

We have such international agreements and organizations like GATT and the WTO that limit what we can do unilaterally. I doubt either party will want to withdraw from them.

Guess we need to slam the door on that crap. Their “best interest” is not ours.

Except for Constitutional Amendments, one Congress is not bound by the actions of a previous one.

Congress can propose to withdraw from treaties and agreements, but unless it takes a positive action to do so, the status quo remains in force.

This scenario would mark the first time that natural increase was not the leading cause of population increase since at least 1850, when the census began collecting information about residents' country of birth.

This is a very misleading statement. Sounds like a version of the hockey stick view of earth temperatures.

Since this country started having European immigration in the 1600s, the expansion has happened with both native-born and immigrant residents. This census report would have us believe that immigration was a minor factor before 1850! Come on! It doesn't pass the smell test. I spend a lot of time on genealogy and family history research, and know that America has always had a large portion of its population growth because of people coming here to settle.

Some thoughts that wandered through my mind in church this morning.

Media meme states that America is hated, so why do people from every other country on the planet want to settle here?

Media meme number 2: Americans are racially divided and white people are bigots.

Here is why these thoughts came to me —

My parish is in a traditionally working class neighborhood - Hampden - which did not collapse with the white exodus to the suburbs after WWII, because they were too poor to move to better locations. And because many worked locally in mills, there was a strong multi-generational community spirit.

These lower income people were ‘salt of the earth” types; hardworking and self-sufficient.
As city neighborhoods go, it was safe for all ages.

Now it is becoming a bit gentrified, due to its location, close to Johns Hopkins University, and not far from downtown.

So back to church:

Our pastor is a young charismatic born-Korean who came to the US with his parents when he was a small child.
Our organist is a Chinese woman who is a professor at The Peabody Institute.
Our alter servers come in many colors, from many different continents.
Our congregation is also multi-colored. For example, the three young people in the row behind me were Asian, and one bowed in a Japanese manner after the “Our Father”.

What do we have in common? Our love of the Church, and our comfort in this parish.

As I was musing about this situation, the final hymn was announced:

“In Christ there is no East or West”; melody adapted from an African-American spiritual

1. In Christ there is no east or west,
in him no south or north;
but one great fellowship of love
throughout the whole wide earth.

2. In Christ shall true hearts everywhere
their high communion find;
his service is the golden cord
close binding humankind.

3. (Words copr.)

4. In Christ now meet both east and west,
in him meet south and north;
all Christly souls are one in him
throughout the whole wide earth.

*****

How appropriate!

My take as well. If its not broken up soon it won’t matter. It,the country as we know it, will all be over.
