Tarboro, N.C. — Princeville Mayor Priscilla Everette-Oates has been indicted on 17 counts of embezzlement by a public official, authorities said Tuesday.

The charges come four months after a state audit found that Everette-Oates charged $8,115 to a town credit card between August 2010 and last July without any receipts to back up the spending. Charges included $1,255 to Madison Steak and Seafood and $222 to Bed Bath & Beyond.

State auditors began looking into Princeville's finances last summer after the state Local Government Commission took control of the town's books. At the time, Princeville was 9 percent over budget and was in danger of defaulting on a loan.

Since her political party affiliation isn’t mentioned, I’ll assume she’s a Republican, right? Ummm... right?

Mayor is apparently a nonpartisan position, but Edgecombe county is famous for lack of Republicans. I'm sure she is a registered Dimmocrat.

I wonder what she ordered at the steakhouse.

Wow, from that article:

Mayor Priscilla Everette-Oates labeled the state’s role as “an unwarranted intrusion into our local administration (that) has only hindered Princeville’s recovery.” She blames the prior administration and “witchcraft” for the town’s woes.

“There are things that have been done that are raised by the devil ... to destroy what is right,” said Everette-Oates, a minister.

Hoo boy!

I guessed her race and political affiliation with the first glance of the headlines. Yes, I profiled. The Sherrod Case and Pigford Settlement has poisoned me to the shakedown of the government all over with respect to Obama supporters.

The hills of NC are a hotbed of witchcraft and occult camps.

Ashville is the national capitol of witchcraft and similar nonsense.

Right on, so did I, even before I saw the mug shot. Clues: Small town in the South, hyphenated last name. Dead giveaway: Black Rat!

Only $8115.00? What king of slacker dem is this chick? She will never compete with the top tier. Ask Barry and Mitch. Get some travel advice from Eric too.
