Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura couldn't enumerate just how a Navy SEAL sniper's book defamed him, but he said he'd had a hard time finding work since the book came out.
He also said his main complaint about it -- that the late Chris Kyle's tale that he decked Ventura for badmouthing SEALs was untrue -- left him worrying if people think he's a traitor.
"Every day of my life, I walk around looking over my shoulder now, wondering who believes that and who doesn't," Ventura said in response to a question from Kyle's lawyer, John Borger.

I KNOW you are a traitor jesse... you are suing the wife of a dead American hero and his children so that you can redeem some worthless vision that you have of yourself. how he can do this to the wife of a hero who was murdered is beyond me. i assume the seal community is a close knit one, i cant imagine they are happy either.
by co-incidence yesterday they had sons of guns with Chris Kyle. a more down to earth honest guy i dont think you could meet...it was sad to think of the loss....
This case makes Jessie kook like a wimp.
As a former SEAL he gets some respect. But his recent actions, the truther %#$@! and this lawsuit in particular are making me lose all respect for him.
"I heard Ventura say that we shouldn't be over in Iraq, doing what we were doing," he said. "And then he said that the SEALs deserved to lose some guys because of what we were doing.
"That's when Chris punched him. All of us wanted to. Chris was just the first one to pop him."
Then, about six months after he was elected, a relay in his feeble brain burned through and he threatened to kill a reporter for the local paper.

I don’t see where this case goes to trail. Apparently there are Navy Seals that were present that will testify to the incident. If it goes to trail, the best he will get is a win with $1 reward.

Just imagine his is the one with a yellow stripe up the middle and down the back.
Correction. If Ventura had not filed the lawsuit no one would have known that Ventura had any connection to the book. Ventura is not mentioned by name anywhere in the book.
