Obama administration using housing department to compel diversity in neighborhoods

In a move some claim is tantamount to social engineering, the Department of Housing and Urban Development is imposing a new rule that would allow the feds to track diversity in America’s neighborhoods and then push policies to change those it deems discriminatory.

The policy is called, "Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing." It will require HUD to gather data on segregation and discrimination in every single neighborhood and try to remedy it.

HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan unveiled the federal rule at the NAACP convention in July.

"Unfortunately, in too many of our hardest hit communities, no matter how hard a child or her parents work, the life chances of that child, even her lifespan, is determined by the zip code she grows up in. This is simply wrong,” he said.

Data from this discrimination database would be used with zoning laws, housing finance policy, infrastructure planning and transportation to alleviate alleged discrimination and segregation....

My zip code has been invaded by illegals and is now a dangerous barrio. If I moved, my rent would at least double. Is HUD going to help me move to a nice, clean, safe neighborhood? Didn’t think so.

Not to sound bigoted or prejudiced, but so many from different ethnic groups destroy neighborhoods. This isn’t across the board, of course, but you get my drift.

We already have "fair housing". If you can't afford to live in a particular neighborhood, you live elsewhere. There is NO WAY that inner-city tribal parasites are refused housing in any neighborhood, IF they can pay their way.....if they live on Welfare, then they have CHOSEN not to improve their circumstance, and can deal with it.

This FORCING of Public Housing in suburbia is intended to turn ALL cities into "Detroit".....and the inner-city tribal parasites already visit suburbia, to steal Whitey's possessions, cars, commit rape, murder, etc.

I think they expect YOU to move to a MORE dangerous neighborhood to sort of even things out... Good luck.

When the communists BLACK Muslim was elected. We are in a dictatorship and Americans are letting it happen. We are finished and will never come back. Even most of the Republicans in Washington are useless pieces of crap.

In housing, it happened many years ago when dems decided to break up good neighborhoods by moving in low lifes to vote for them.

Back to the old Block Busting days of the 50’s.

All this will do is create rich ghetto’s. White people have been running from black for 50 years now. This is just going to Make more whites run.

Nah, this is not about diversity. Obama always went on and on about Equality before he got elected. Equal outcomes, equal salaries, equal housing.

Imagine if we were forced to all have equal housing.

Now imagine that with the comparison being global. not just here in the USA.

I myself think this is a grand idea. The 1600 block of Pennsylvania Ave., Washington DC would be a good place to start.

Great idea. Let’s take some of the projects from the South Side of Chicago, along with their occupants, and move them wholesale to Martha’s Vineyard, next to the place where the Obama’s vacation. (All at taxpayer expense, of course.)

Then take some movie stars’ homes in the Hollywood area and move them, along with their occupants, to the South Side of Chicago.

Should be interesting. Give these people a new perspective on life.

HUD needs you to stay in your home to maintain the proper racial mix for the neighborhood.

Sounds like one of Hillary’s “It Takes A Village” things. Sprinkle the freeloaders in with those who work for a living.

I think the way it will be done is to sell multiple foreclosure houses to hedge funds with idea that they must Section 8 them. That is how they’ll integrate all neighborhoods.
Personally I like the way HUD auctions them off now vs what they already said before selling them to hedge funds.
