WASHINGTON Democracy isn't dead, but a surprising number of political donors are.
Dead people have donated nearly $600,000 to political campaigns and parties since 2009, according to a USA Today analysis of Federal Election Commission records.
The donations aren't necessarily fraudulent. People are allowed to leave money to candidates and political groups in much the same way they can leave money to charities, but there are legal limits, including many of the same rules that apply to living donors.

One of the reasons I’m such a big fan of HBO’s The Walking Dead - they’re everywhere these days, even at the heads of charities and in the polling booths.

I heard of a dead Chicagoan who voted Republican his whole life, and has voted Democrat ever after.
If Donald Duck can contribute to Democrats, why not dead people?
I wonder why the media can manage to find names,numbers and addresses in these type of stories, but can never seem to find out how these people voted , or in this case, donated to.
