It seems some liberals are having a collective meltdown over an online conservative protest called "Facebook Blackout."
Facebook has established a pattern of silencing Conservative posters and pages so, on August 24 and 25th, we are going to grant them their wish. Silence from out side.
Any advertising dollars that they lose will be their lesson.

If they know who you are, and where you are, when the SHTF they will know where to go...
SHTF day is getting closer and closer IMHO.
Conservatives pulled out of newspapers.
And magazines.
Then ‘nightly news’.
And JC Penney.
Now Facebook.
It’s time.
I say no to Facebook: I refuse to do any business with the putz, Mark Zuckerberg.
This IS the kind of protest that we can do that will have ACTUAL effect.
They get instant revenue based on ‘clicks’ and ‘eyeballs’ and if no one clicks, they get no money those days.
They would see a REAL drop in income for those two days.
And, if it is successful we can start to bring proessure on other places.
We vote more with our pocketbooks than anything else- just ask Chik-fil-A
I started not using Facebook when zuckerface was in diapers.
I will do a poll on Facebook and let you know the results.
Who wastes their time on FB and spilling their guts so advertisers can make money by stealing your privacy?. Everyday is a FB blackout for me.
Facebook is so incredibly rich that two days will mean nothing.
If they are serious, drop it altogether.

Twitter is more effectively used by conservatives.
Conservatives are more effective at clear concise thought in 140 characters and twitter doesn’t ban us for it. Plus you don’t get all the excess garbage on twitter like games, pokes, and likes.
Among the people I follow are Malkin, Palin, Bachmann, Levin, Gowdy, Cruz, Paul.....
I like Facebook. My favorite authors, fellow SF geeks, friends, and family are on it.
But I will close up for 24-25 August.

I am so ahead of the curve. I closed my Facebook account last week.

I learn more conservative news on FB than any other site. I can read something from friends and come here and it has not been posted yet. It all depends on what kind of friends a person has. All of mine are conservative. I got rid of the 2 high school friends who were liberals. Have not missed much.
If you’re not voting for a commie, they already know who you are. Unless you pay cash, do not have a bank account, they already know all they need to know. With IRS on their side, they’ll know everything without any trouble at all.
