To this day, my brother, the original low information voter, still believes Sarah said that.

"Is Alzheimer's setting in? Do we have dementia?" I'm not kidding. They would have psychiatrists and psychologists on TV, and they would be analyzing this, and they'd be looking for any indication that a declining mental capacity is taking placeLet's see now. What resembles dementia? Being in over your head? How about being stoned out of your mind?

Shall we all just agree that the MSM is a working accessory to the Democrats and all to their left?

And in each one of these, if the media was inclined to talk about, it would be, "You know he didn't mean that! You know he didn't mean that. Come on. You know he knows Biden's wife's name. What are you talking about? They certainly didn't cut George W. Bush any slack like that. They pounded him mercilessly for ANY gaffe he made! And they're still talking about Sarah Palin's 'gaffes', even though the one they still talk about the most, she didn't even SAY!

Oh, Rush knows Sarah didn’t say that. He was making a point about how the media said she did so often, that many people now BELIEVE she said it.

Obama, the Gaff-o-Matic, is lovingly treated by a Propaganda Machine called the US Press, while at the same time, ANYTHING a Republican does -- such as drink out of a glass of water -- is up for mockery.
The enemy is the press.

Palin never said that, Tina Fey said it in an SNL skit. What Palin said was, "There are places in Alaska [the far-western Aleutians] where you can see Alaska." She never said she could see it from her porch, because you can't see it from there. Palin was just trying to make kind of a folksy point I think Sarah Palin would have been better off answering the direct question with a direct answer.
She was asked to identify things that would enhance her foreign policy experience.
Even without the Tina Fey revision, it was a poor ("folksy") answer to a serious question.
