With conditions continuing to deteriorate in Syria, the Obama administration is making a major policy shift by agreeing for the first time to allow thousands of new Syrian refugees into the United States, The Cable has learned.
The numbers are relatively small: just 2,000 refugees, compared to an estimated two million people who have fled Syria during the civil war. But it's a significant increase from the 90 or so Syrian refugees who have been permanently admitted to the U.S. in the last two years. And it's not entirely uncontroversial. The refugees, mostly women and children, will be screened for terrorist ties -- a process that could take a year or more to complete.
Unlike previous efforts by the Department of Homeland Security to give temporary protected status to Syrians already in the United States, the State Department effort will bring in Syrians from overseas for permanent resettlement in America.

As long as they let in the Christians fleeing persecution by the “rebels” I’m all for letting in Syrian refugees — the big Arab Christian population in Wichita came here the last time the Sunnis in that part of the world decided to persecute Christians (look up a life of St. Joseph of Damascus). I have a feeling, though, I’ll end up being against the policy when they just let in Sunnis.

It seems so incredibly simple. Let Muslim countries take in Muslim refugees. We already take in more than our fair share without putting the country at such great risk.

To obtain welfare from those that are working. Or it comes from Obama’s stash. Or someplace.
At every turn Obama favors the Islamists and weakens the US. He is also arming Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood trying to overthrow Assad. If Assad falls, hundreds of thousands of Christians in Syria will have to flee or be killed. You won't hear about the plight of the Christians in Syria any more than he is worried about the slaughter of the Copts in Egypt.

They’ll be passed thru the Muslim Mosque organizations to “adjust”.... who will instill further in them how to ‘avoid’ and resist proselytizing....furthermore what will happen if they do.
Over time they will then teach them how to have “christian” conversations with Christians , using Christian verbiage, in order to convert Christians to Islam and assure them that was their purpose for being brought here..to help make American Islamic.

When 0bama uses the NSA and DOJ to unearth EVERYTHING in one's past, it's difficult to get ANYONE to risk losing their career to get the truth out about 0bama's crimes. EVERYONE IN CONGRESS IS BEING BLACKMAILED, INCLUDING ROBERTS FOR HIS OBAMACARE DECISION. That didn't smell right at the time and now we know why.
You left off the part about these woman and children being ill or needing medical attention or having been tortured...which the article speaks about..those at the front of the line..
So when you add Islamic teaching to abused and tortured...what do you get...post-tramatic psychological issues....80% of Muslims who come to this country have psychological problems.
But I'm sure they'll find outstanding jobs and contribute to the Obamacare Health Insurance...right?
