Something bugs me about this, but I'm not sure how to put it into words. We are now negatively comparing the POTUS with the Russian President (rightly so, so bear with me).
What if this is a set up? What if Obama finally crosses that magic line that causes “us” to resist?
And what if Russia decides they will come in and “save” us from our tyrant? Would “we” welcome Russian troops with open arms?
I smell a coup - or not.

Overnight, Putin would be a major success and be the most recognized guy in America.Hell, we've already elected one illegal alien to the presidency -- why not another rock star? The sheeple don't seem to care about the consequences.

Putin and Sarah would definitely respect each other. They could shoot game together. It would be like Reagan and Thatcher.

Not too veiled! Yep. For all his faults (and he has plenty) Putin is a man who loves his country and has attained his position through his own efforts. Neither applies to 0bama.

When it comes to “better” in music, you can be talking about two different things - technical proficiency or the appeal of the music. Hendrix was probably better technically than most rock guitarists, but well down on my list of who I liked to listen to.

We'll be fighting in the street, with our children at our feet, and the morals that we worshiped will be gone. Now it hits TOO close to home. To be followed up in this generation by Coldplay's "When I ruled the world" lyrics. So sad.

I don’t think it was too veiled. I rather wished he would have slapped him all the way to the moon.

At least Putin is straight up who he is.So was George Bush. That's why they respected each other.
If each of Obama's lies were a nickel laid side to side, they would stretch around the equator several times.

Good question. Maybe it has to do with whatever leverage Putin has over Obama.

BHO needs a "round house. Bet BO doesnt even know the saying that goes with your statement or a lot of people on this site, for that matter. I havent heard it in a long time. Made me chuckle.
The only saying I remember is:
"Head for the round house Little Nell, they can't corner you there!"
Probably not what you had in mind...

I think Vlad Putin is the best thing to happen to Russian politics since the wall came down.
