I’ve had it 2x (3yrs ago since I quit drinking); both times at $1,499/ btl. Back when I was worth a lot of money in a thriving business, to celebrate special events.
I bought one bottle when I sold my 97pt Concours 1955 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing at $800k. And another when I sold my 96pt Concours 1969 Ferrarri Dino 246GT at $575k.
It’s pure *sipping* whiskey. Neat. No ice or water. Be careful of the spelling, and check the bottle for hand written date and cask #. There are “pretenders” out there which look like Macallan.
