The chill in relations between the US and Russia grew still frostier yesterday as President Vladimir Putin's foreign minister told the White House to start behaving like "grown-ups".

Sergei Lavrov chided the US administration two days after President Barack Obama scrapped a summit with Mr Putin when Russia granted asylum to Edward Snowden, the fugitive US spy.

To have all of this come up prior to the G20 Summit....is stupid. There are five or six of these attendees who will drag this topic out with the President and make it a comical question if they are talking to an adult or a kid when in conference with him. It’ll just get him more frustrated, and he’ll have the statements at the end of the meeting sound like some disgruntled 12-year old....which none of the media can possibly put on the air or say much about.

I think the vast number of major media players will pull back and barely cover anything on this G20 Summit. It’s just going to be a very negative experience.

“Hussein is turning the U.S. into a laughing stock of the world.”

I wish it would be only that bad. It seems the axis of evil has turned and the things got even worse. The US has lost it’s moral supremacy. That’s one of the worst things that could happen to a nation according to Regan speech of the evil empire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=do0x-Egc6oA&t=224

Now THAT would be great! I'd actually like to see Snowden do a speech. I wonder if the US media would actually report on it...

Well, they sure covered his 2011 faux pas when he waved and covered the head of the Mongolian President.

I want Snowden to open a youtube channel and start posting videos...lol

It would drive Obozo nuts. :-)

Haha... that reminds me of something humorous.
I have a friend who is a real leftie, she adores Obama and posts regularly on lib websites.

She asked me to do some repairs on her PC and being an incurable practical joker I put a microcontroller inside her keyboard (Attiny85) All it does is watch for the letters O b a m a and if it sees those characters it sends three backspaces and spits out “o z o”. The result is that at random intervals the stuff she posts calls the president Barak Obozo....lololol

I’m glad the world is noticing and commenting on our government lately. The Libs won’t be able to so easily get away with calling a segment of America sore losers or racists anymore. Oh they still will of course, but with a straight face hardly.

They’re tough on immigration, they don’t like gay propaganda, they’re standing up for the Christian faith, they have a real leader, heck if I didn’t have family here I’d seriously think of trying to get citizenship there!

I was just telling my mom today, I don’t much like Americans anymore. Coming out of the Walgreens me and someone on the other side of the door did a little “dance” jockeying for one of the two doors a few times, I chuckled a little when passing him, he stared straight ahead with an inconvenienced expression. I was still smiling a bit while walking out and looked at a girl passing by and she gives me a frown. At work, there used to be a sense of decorum but now the younger managers swear like they’re at a bar. Women are judgemental, take everything the worst possible way a lot of times, if you are on the quiet side they say “whats wrong you don’t like us?” I’m like “No I’m just focused on the job” God forbid you aren’t an extrovert, but even if you are ya can’t talk TOO much or they say something bout that behind your back. I don’t know how people are in the rest of the world, I’m sure even worse in ways, in some other places...but I know that here people are very critical of others and won’t accept you for who you are.

Allow me to snip a factoid (RE: the SecState) to add to his vita. In addition to having been in Viet Nam, John Kerry reminds us

"Sergei Lavrov and I are old hockey players, and we both know that diplomacy, like hockey, can sometimes result in the occasional collision," he told the press conference before their meeting.

Shery’s daughter here - same here! I never married and am single. I don’t speak Russian, but I’m real good at learning languages. I was just telling my dad yesterday how I wondered if it might be worth it to go live there in Russia. It would be cold, yes, but it’s getting really weird here in the U.S.

I'd actually like to see Snowden do a speech.

That would be sweet. Putin could arrange it so he gives it over closed-circuit TV from an undisclosed location in Russia "to protect Snowden from any United States efforts to abduct him" (pure propaganda of course, to make Hussein look bad).

Let little boy Zero sit there and glower while the jumbotron shows the speech to the world.

I never dreamed of the day I would shamefully agree with their assessment. Russia has to do what it has to do, as when they are dealing with the US Government, they are dealing with a great lot of incompetent, malicious socialists idiots bent on the collapse of Western society.
