If losing his prime-time show to Megyn Kelly is rattling Sean Hannity, he isnt showing it.
Hannity weighed in on the report of Kellys move to the Fox News 9 p.m. prime-time block during his radio show, saying hes very happy with the way things are turning out, and that it has no negative implications for his career.
Lets just say in the end Im very happy. Thats all I can say at this point, he said Thursday.
Its pretty funny. I love people speculating, Hannity said. Because everybody thinks they know everything and they dont.
He also preempted criticism from those who might suggest the move had anything to do with him being a right wing nut job.
If I wasnt hated, I wouldnt be doing my job now would I? he said.
Megyn Kelly is all hype and dull bad move by fox.

Hannity is one of the very strongest Fox hosts.
I somehow don’t think he’s headed toward any sort of demotion.
Just saying.
I don’t have any inside information, just going on instinct.
I’d not worry about Hannity.
So, is Sean getting another slot, or is he being dumped by Fox?
He says he loves people speculating.
Kelly is a lefty on social issues. As far as ‘hot’..? I can sit on a bench in downtown Greenville, SC on a warm summer night and watch dozens of women just as hot walking to and fro...and I don’t have to pay for cable. :-)
I’d say Megyn is NOT GUILTY.....
I agree its a bad decision. Megyn is not an opinion host. She just brings others onto her show to argue, and reports the news Shep-style.
Who wants to watch that at prime time? I’d rather watch the Bloviator than have a Shepster repeat. BREAKING NEWS!: We’re going to report on the same thing we’ve been reporting on all day!
I can’t stand her, just smug as all hell.
I don’t have cable or any tv anymore, but when I did I often watched FOX’s lineup. My guess: Sean gets Mr. Mascara’s slot at 7 p.m. EST. Radio from 3 - 6, tv from 7 - 8 and he’s home at a decent hour. He’s probably happy about this.
Megyn Kelly will win her time slot (who in their right mind would rather look at Maddow than Megyn) but it won’t be Hannity numbers.
RE: So who is this Megyn Kelly?
Excerpts From Wikipedia:
She is a news anchor on the Fox News Channel. Kelly previously hosted America Live on weekdays from the networks New York City headquarters. Prior to that, she co-hosted America’s Newsroom along with Bill Hemmer. Since 2007, the two have hosted Fox News Channel’s New Year’s Eve special every year.
Kelly contributed legal segments for Special Report with Brit Hume and hosted her own legal segment, “Kelly’s Court,” during Weekend Live. She appears on a weekly segment on The O’Reilly Factor and occasionally filled in for Greta Van Susteren on On the Record in the past. Most of her reporting focused on legal and political matters. At this time she occasionally contributed as an anchor but she was often stationed as a substitute anchor, mostly on the weekends.
Kelly’s “America Live” program has been up 20% in total viewers (averaging 1,293,000) and up 4% in the 2554 demographic (averaging 268,000).
Kelly received media attention for her coverage of the results of the 2012 United States presidential election. On November 6, the night of the election, Fox News projected that Obama would win a second term after part of the results had been released. In response to Karl Rove’s opposition to this projection, Kelly asked Rove, “Is this just math that you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better? Or is this real?”
Kelly left as host of America Live in the beginning of July 2013 for maternity leave and will move to FNC’s prime time schedule after she returns in the fall of 2013. She is expected to take the 9:00 p.m. time slot.
I vote: Kill Bill.
Or truncate Schlepper and put O-really on at 7:00.
If the goberment had not shut down tv I might have watched more. It is football season so I will fire up the tv for my one station. I still like Hannity best. Megyn, comb your hair.
This is going to hurt Greta’s ratings. Instead of enduring an hour of Megan Kelly, I predict newshounds will go online to opine on Free Republic.
Megan Kelly is certainly easy on the eyes and I can’t dislike a good Irish girl.
A little goes a long way.
I can't stand that stupid football!

It’s my understanding, that he has a good contract.
My take....no inside info, just a hunter reading the sign.
1. Fox News head Roger Aiels is a fellow traveler with the Republican Royals. Everything Fox does serves the GOP power establishment.....including showing just enough red meat like Hannity to keep the Tea Party types tuned in and conned.
Evidence - the serial elevation, celebration, then destruction of every presidential candidate EXCEPT Romney.
2. The GOP establishment is once again nervous that the Tea Party peasants may get out of hand and lynch a few of their own in the 2014 cycle.....SO....back bench Hannity, the last of the headliner bombthrowers at Fox...who as we know carrys water for every uber conservative and patriot.
They did it to Beck...they did it to Judge Napolitano..others?..now Hannity....and they replace Hannity with this cow?
She is bright but not schooled, aggressive but arrogant, has lots of hours....but no world experience. IT is a hilarity that anybody claims she hits in the league with O’Reilly, Hannity, Beck, or other conservative/libertarian talking heads.
Thanks!
She is above O’Reilly the bloviator. He is the biggest joke of a conservative EVER. O’Reilly who bowed down to O’bama for a suck up interview. Bill is in it for Bill and the bills.
how do we know hannity won’t move to cnn or one of the other liberal cable outlets? Beck did.
We were turning off Fox during her midday show. Now I guess we will be doing the same at the evening timeslot. I never thought she was “that special”. Her liberal leanings are always slipping out.
70% probability that Hannity takes the 7pm slot.
30% probability that Hannity takes the 8pm slot and O’Reilly partially retires.
I did hear Sean Hannity does want to spend more time with his family and I am sure he has made enough money he doesn't have to worry about what spot they put him in..
RE: he has made enough money he doesn’t have to worry about what spot they put him in..
Here’s a piece of interesting news from 2008:

Sean Hannity Gets $100 Million Deal
(That’s a pittance compared to what Rush Limbaugh makes ).

WOW
My only speculation is possibly Ailes is doing what needs to be done when the political parties control the airways/licenses and have their middle finger poised above the key marked "Fairness Doctrine" so he adjusts tactics accordingly.
Or, maybe he's just been rolling in that stuff so long as a part of the job that he's been infected, too, or has gotten old enough that he just doesn't care as he once did.
Success is its own revenge.
Please tell me that Hannity is going to take over O'Reilly's time slot, and that O'Reilly will be moved to 2 AM.
Beck moved to a liberal outlet? When? Where?
He came from CNN to Fox.
Now on his own with his Blaze Tv, or whatever it’s called.
I dunno.
If Megyn Kelly were going to be my slot, I’d be pretty satisfied.
Not sure WHAT Ailes was thinking with replacing Hannity with Megyn Kelly in the 9pm time slot. She is BORING.
And FNC is getting more Leftist with their every move.
CNN would be smart to dump the lib brit in the old larry King slot and replace him with Hannity, CNN would win the hour.
A pretty face over runs a lousy program most days. They want men watching, just to slobber.
I too have no inside information but Ailes very rarely strikes out. I think these moves will be his tactics to completely bury in the outhouse MSNBC and CNN. Ailes has them now on the mat for the count but he does not just want to win, he wants to behead the competition.
I predict Sean will cut back and make specials instead of a nightly show. I think he has likely burned out. He is rich and famous. This won’t hurt him. Just my 2 cents.
If anything, Megan should replace Shep, who is getting worse and worse
Of all the TV talking heads, on all the networks, who find themselves having to interview “common people” there only two that seems to put non media guests at ease and actually listen to and interact well...and there are only two...Greta Van Sustern and Sean Hannity.
As for Kelly, she’s too “inside the beltway, sitting at the cool kids lunch table” type. Not a great persona for an opinion based show.
Mr. Potato Head taking up 9-10 pm is no good, either.
On a personal note, I don’t care for Megyn. She’s in a hurry when she talks and whatever she does, and she wears me out just listening to her. She seemed to be happy to report Obama won in the last election. Her face was the last one I saw on Fox News until I tuned back in 7 months later. She’s no conservative.
On the otherhand, I like Hannity, but his show consists of arguing. 2 people on opposite sides debating... and I’m through with the other side. I don’t want to hear them blow hot air. I’m through with the lies. Just give information to those who are ill informed or less informed. Let the conservatives have a voice.. the left has all the rest of the channels.
Greta has been doing a good job probing and asking questions on the lack of anyone doing anything. I think we are ready for a fight and no one is hosting.
cnn accepted beck, so why wouldn’t they accept hannity for his prime time slot? does cnn want ratings?
I can’t watch her for 5 minutes without getting annoyed. Forget an hour. Look for the 9:00PM slot to lose viewership. Stupid move by Fox.
