Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), a close ally of labor union and trial lawyer interests on Capitol Hill, is sending out hundreds of letters to groups linked to ALEC, the free-market group of state legislators that has occasionally involved itself in other issue areas like criminal and self-defense law, promising to shame those supporters at a public hearing for the notional link to the Trayvon Martin affair

It’s an awkward thing to see someone with no shame try to shame someone.
Liberals don’t like to be compared to Nazis but this is just the way the SS took care of Hitler’s enemies. Fight back America!
Mockery is the proper response to Durbin:
“In other news, Richard “Dick” Durbin announced his proposal of a new law related to self defense issues, to be known as the ‘It’s OK, just kill me’ law.

Key word:
Dick
He won’t intimidate me..
Dick Turban. Get the picture? Yes, we see!
Durbin is a traitor. A Trayvon of the first order.
The House committee chairman from a powerful committee with lots of gov't contracts would look up the campaign donations to Durbin. Then they would send a letter to each company asking if they agree that a politician use his office (a la Durbin) to intimidate corporations that support different causes than they do. Insinuate (but don't say!) that you might take a closer look at those companies, since it's all political now. When Durbin and the media throw a hissy-fit, keep directing it back to Durbin's letters: "Well, if Senator Durbin's letters were ok, then so were ours. If they aren't, why didn't you say this when Durbin sent out the original letters?" Pound it until the hypocrisy is crystal clear.
But that would require Republicans with balls... and there's not a full set to share between the lot of them (reminds me of the witches from the Perseus myth)...
