DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A Florida beach safety officer has been fired over comments he is accused of making on Facebook regarding Trayvon Martin.
Todd Snipes was fired Friday for unprofessional conduct. County officials say Snipes showed “horrible judgment made worse during a racially charged atmosphere.”

Snipes is accused of writing a post on Facebook after George Zimmerman’s acquittal in the 17-year-old’s death that read: “Another thug gone. Pull up your pants and be respectful. Bye bye thug r.i.p.”
Truth hurts. They’ll replace him with a liberal wienie with little life experience, no common sense, and no work ethic and get their butts sued off when he fails to do his job and someone drowns on his watch because he was in the bathhouse with another guy in one of the stalls.
Maybe considered insensitive these days (can’t hurt anyone’s feelings!), but true. Not worthy of losing a job though. Which person was more likely to lead a life of crime, Zimmerman or Treyvon?

The truth is that I am offended by the boyz in hoodies. They are the outfit of the black KKK and any light skinned person had better be wary of this threat. One only has to look at the videos from store robberies, black mob beat downs and news reports to figure this out.

He lacked the common sense not to post his “goodby Thug Trayvon” comment on Facebook.
He is a public employee.
There is no way, none, that a public employee could post that on FB and get away with it.
IF he didn’t know that, where’s the common sense?
And, a lot of private businesses would fire a person for posting that. They would think it would impact their businesses in terms of image, customers etc.
It’s not the man’s opinion that’s the problem, it’s posting this on FB for all the world to see that opens him up to the firing.
Someone with the wherewithal needs to scoop this guy up and put him on his management team.
Daytona Beach authorities are out of their minds for dismissing a man who speaks his mind.
When we take over it’ll be fun to get people fired if they say something bad about a ‘tea party’ member?

As soon as I read the headline I knew that the “offender” had to be white. A black employee saying something offensive to Zimmerman supporters, who BTW was found by the jury to have used deadly force only after he was nearly beaten to death by Trayvon, would never be even noticed by the high brass.

It frightens me that you think he lacked ‘common sense,’ when his opinion seems pretty truthful. Political correctness is not ‘common sense,’ and the more we become silent in the face of insanity the less liberty we will have.

The goal is an out-of-Court Settlement, where Taxpayers are fleeced for the benefit of the Lawyers and the Litigation Lotto Litigants....it's a pure extortion scheme to take advantage of TAXPAYERS once again footing the bill for Lawsuits for "offending" some Protected Class.
