The Huff Blog idiot just sounds so incredibly stupid and vacuous....How this woman ever got to where she is can only be due to her blathering the Lib mantra over and over.
Not only is she not smart, she is also unattractive..a lethal combo.

Thanks Twotone. Great meeting you last weekend!
It is absurd we would use 1929 thinking in the year 21st century. Central planning has failed everywhere it has been tried.

We now have a Tea Partier as the State Chair and the establishment is on the outside.
If the GOP is to be saved, that may be how to do it -- from the state level up. Of course, that assumes that the current GOPelites haven't completely sold out and become the Dem-lite party.
Frequently, we see articles about state Dems who have jumped to the Republican party. We have seen several states shifting from blue to purple and approaching red. West Virginia, Louisiana, and Arkansas are a few that seem to be experiencing some shifting.
Just a decade ago, for example, Arkansas had 1 out of 4 US House members and 0 out of 2 US Senate members who was a Republican. Today, all 4 House seats and one Senate seat are held by Republicans, and the 1 remaining Dem seat -- the Senate -- is very likely to flip next year.
The from-the-state-up approach, however, may take another decade or two. By then, what will the Nation look like? How many dumb 2000 page laws will have passed with multitudes of new bureaus and departments and regulations?
Conservatives need to think hard about the current and future politics --
- jump now, create a new party, and hope to be electing members to state and National offices in a few years, or
- hold out and hope the GOP can be saved from within in a few decades.

It is absurd we would use 1929 thinking in the year 21st century. Central planning has failed everywhere it has been tried.
For liberalism/progressivism, it is not the result, but the effort that counts.
Observe it on smaller scales -- we see it, they don't. Paper or plastic -- to save the trees? Now, we have plastic. Now, plastic is evil. Reusables. Okay, but they are easily contaminated with deadly germs. So? The libs/progressives won. They never bother with unintended consequences.
Then, there is that Global Cooling that was going to send us into an ice age by the end of the century. But, Nature didn't cooperate, so it became Global Warming. Ironically, they could claim hot days and cold days, wet days and dry days, flood and famine and drought were all caused Global Warming. But as the scientific consensus and data behind the claims fell apart, they switched to Climate Change. That is general enough to cover every contingency -- except for those darn solar flares that can mess up the consensus claims.

The commies in office in dc are not through playing out their sequester game. Its a huge win for them takes peoples' minds off at least a dozen other scandals. Also the regime has figured out that they can blame us for something they designed and then get the DBM to further blame us and get all kinds of mileage.
Also, the sequester begins to threaten the "mothers milk" of all commie regimes: money. They need to buy votes now more than ever. ,P> By cutting budgets of the most important most needed items in every department of government they think they can make us look bizarre and extreme as they have already mentioned at least once this morning.
Here is yet another example of where the hard left will go by destroying our space fence,a series of hi-tech radar units that monitors threats from space in many forms. This includes new ICBMS recently developed by China. It's been defunded.
Check it out here.

Brilliant post TX and this is exactly what is going on. The biggest problem is that the
budget cuts are being made on purpose to budget items that are really needed instead of cutting fat and waste which is rampant everywhere. Without the driveby media they could never get away with any of this.
Let's hope Limbaugh et all pick up on this and run with it. Probably, the worst part of the entire sequester scam is that it diverts attention from other scandals that truly can ruin the regime from Benghazi to the IRS still targeting tea party groups and now small businesses.

And you notice that Chris Christie is being pushed as the likely GOP candidate? We need to get behind a Tea Partier quick. We can’t let the conservative/Tea Party vote get split the way it was in 2012,resulting in the GOP-e candidate getting through.

Juan Castro is incredibly slick. He had the ability to turn every issue around on us making us look extreme and anti-everything. Our Texas guy Louy Gomert tried to stop his endless attacks but castro is a well schooled socialist knowing if he doesn’t score on tv he can’t use any dem platforms because now no one would vote for them. He’s a well tutored commie. He must worship at the alter of axelrod.

You may also know that Georgia Pacific (timber company) was one of the biggest lobbyists to shut down logging in the west using the Spotted Owl issue. The Discovery Channel did a show on this about ten years ago. This raised the value of their holdings in Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida.

So when Boehner says,
his goal is not to shut down the government what he is really saying is that no one in the Republican party has the capability to explain to US citizens that when the House does not fund obamcare the President has to shut down the government.
It is he,the potus, who is not getting his way. Not us. Its zero who would shut down the govt. Not us.
We are incapable of getting that message across.Since we have nobody to make the case Boehner just caves.

I think another point is how Congress writes ambiguous laws that can be richly interpreted by judges to include all kinds of bureaucratic hurdles, loops, barrels and other hindrances we all are required to then jump through.
This allows well-funded (by Wahhabi oil sheiks, communists, socialists and assorted enemies of America) environmental groups to shop for liberal judges who will shape a Congressionally plastic law into something far more onerous than conceived of when passed.
To: TomGuy
Alabama’s the same way. Seven Representatives, all but one Republicans (and the only democrat is black from a gerrymandered black district—imposed on us through Eric Holder’s Justice Department and the Civil Rights Act of 1965, which holds us under the federal boot (that northern states don’t have)—three times longer than all of Reconstruction after the Civil War, but I digress...)
Both our Senators are Republican, one, a RINO, Shelby, but the other Jeff Sessions, a GREAT American.
To: Steven Tyler
Exactly, glad you brought it up.
Reince Priebus,RNC chair, just kicked Fat Candy's butt all over CNN! It was priceless.
Even with her endlessly trying to interrupt him he overwhelmed the hard left liberal from the commie news net. Here's one comment from Priebus:
People know what obamacare is and they don't want any part of it! Even those on the left don't want it!....so why would you ever fund something that the president says is half broken?
She then tried to blame our side for closing down the govt. if we don't fund obamacare. Priebus got her quickly on that one saying, it will be zero who closes down the govt. if we don't fund zerocare.,nailed her fat door closed.
He was great did so well fat candy had to change the topic to why we hate hillary and won't participate in the debates.

I only wish, if we're going to be working with him and he does good things that we give him a nickname, since his real name is non-inspirational.
As for me, I will be calling him "Renney".
Now, did he remind Candybar about how she lied to the American people to Romney's face about Obarry and the Benghazi issue?

I realized this after watching EIGHT stinkn' years of Bush/Cheney/Rove and decided in 2006 when the RATS took the Congress that I was done with the Gelding Old Party and switched my registration to "IND". During those eight years I would listen to every SecDef Rummy newser since he seemed to be the only one in the Admin that could speak with intelligence AND put the media in it's place.

Nahh.... the minute he started to win the obamcare argument she switched to another topic. Truth is preibus can say all he wants. Its still actions that rule the day.
If he fails us on amnesty we are still screwed. On obamcare its a different animal.
We have to think smart.
Chris Wallace showed just how much potential we have in 2014. We could actually take over the Senate if we don't let the press complete destroy us. If we do we probably wont.
We have to think smart.Get the House and the Senate and then go after the commies. Probably not before. Its just not good political strategy which will rule our lives if we are not careful.

There’s $57 billion...BILLION stuck in the DoD budget for Foreign Aid. WTF???
That $57B could be used...no SHOULD be used for the soldiers.
We’re closing the OR at Landstuhl Army Hospital every Friday because of the sequester...soldiers that need surgery can’t get it if it’s Friday...but we can sneak foreign aid money into our budget?
Here’s a novel idea...quit baselining the stimulus money into the budget every year. Yup that one time need it today to save the country bit of pork that was supposed to provide “shovel ready jobs” is now a part of every FY budget proposed. Right there is a great way to cut wasteful spending from the budget...but you know that slush fund to the Dem machine won’t ever get cut off now that it’s been started.
Instead we’re gonna tell the military to BOHICA.
