Jonathan Karl interviewed Trump this morning in Iowa. He asked him how seriously people can really take him after he pressed Obama to produce his birth cert.. Trump said he had no idea if that birth cert is even real and neither does anyone else. A lot of people are still questioning that. Karl said "I'm pretty convinced he was born in the U.S.." Trump said "Pretty sure! Pretty sure! That is not good enough! You have to be one hundred percent sure!" Karl said "I am one hundred percent sure." Trump said "I don't think you are." Trump slammed the immigration reform the GOP is signing onto and said it is a death wish. He said Obamacare is a disaster.

Trump can be entertaining, sort of like Ross Perot.

But he put the birth cert on the front burner and then turned off the gas just in time for November election....:-(

Trump should refer all these interviewers to what Lawrence Eagleberger said about Obama in ‘08 and how nobody has any knowledge about Obama’s background. A man running for office with no record.

Sometimes, I like what the Donald has to say. But, seriously folks, he’s pretty much a clown most of the time. Some people earned their wealth, some people were given theirs, and some people got lucky. The Donald falls in the 2nd group but pretends to be in the first group.

I’m afraid Trump is resurrecting the BC issue in order to use it against Senator Cruz.

I’ve seen some reports he mentioned it during his speech in Iowa.

The fact that the media is deeply devoted to ignoring what should be non stop coverage of obama since the beginning but it’s wasn’t and isn’t.

They lied and scrutinized Bush every day non stop and have trashed Sarah non stop despite her impeccable record FOR America, so we know they have it in them. And the GOP remained silent.

Their hatred of truth is what is keeping evil spreading. The GOP has been a failure and continues to be so. They are with them in this - and that cannot be disputed. We have to wait until one is given a voice with the news and then it’s cut very short to keep voters thinking they have a chance and to make it appear they are being fair and balanced. Patriots will continued to be squashed by the GOP and media. And clueless voters will continue to vote for ‘anyone but..’ - feeding right into the hands of the GOP. I will not vote for anyone endorsed by the GOP. Let the blind do it. I ‘see’ too much.

I don’t like the Rove/GOPe and they did not trick me. Don’t know where you got that idea, but it you certainly wasn’t from me. Donald Trump acts like a clown in public and his business record is less than stellar. I was willing to give his populist campaign a listen, but he did not deliver. If he wants to be a serious candidate, than he has to act like one. In his case, this would be more difficult because he has a history making promises and not delivering on them. He could prove his detractors wrong by committing his time and money to the Tea Party movement or its principles. I would like to be proven wrong on this because, despite, his clownish behavior, he does say somethings in which I agree.

Absolutely the first to publicly and unashamedly call Obama out was Eagleberger. I loved it. I knew he was right then. History is on his side...;)

Just received this and thought you needed to see it.

The percentage of each past president’s cabinet who had worked in the private business sector prior to their appointment to the cabinet.

You know what the private business sector is; a real-life business, not a government job. Here are the percentages.
T. Roosevelt.................... 38%

Taft................................ 40%

Wilson ........................... 52%

Harding........................... 49%

Coolidge......................... 48%

Hoover............................ 42%

F. Roosevelt..................... 50%

Truman........................... 50%

Eisenhower................ .... 57%

Kennedy......................... 30%

Johnson.......................... 47%

Nixon.............................. 53%

Ford................................ 42%

Carter............................. 32%

Reagan............................ 56%

GH Bush.......................... 51%

Clinton .......................... 39%

GW Bush........................ 55%

Obama............................. 8%

This helps to explain the incompetence of this administration: only 8% of them have ever worked in private business!

That’s right! Only eight percent-—the least, by far, of the
last 19 presidents! And these people are trying to tell our big corporations how to run their business?

How can the president of a major nation and society, the one
with the most successful economic system in world history, stand and talk about business when he’s never worked for one? Or about jobs when he has never really had one? And when it’s the same for 92% of his senior staff
and closest advisers? They’ve spent most of their time in academia,
government and/or non-profit jobs or as “community organizers.”
