Chanting "sí se puede!" – "Yes we can!" – with their fists and hands raised high, 1,000 people packed Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Sunday to cheer 11 pilgrims who will march 285 miles from Sacramento to Bakersfield calling for a change to immigration law.

Why don't the same Catholic bishops, ever hold rallies and protests in countries like Mexico ?Why are they not pressuring the Mexican gov to clean house ? Our hope and our faith in Mexico has always been inspired by our faith in human dignity and the word of God and God's strength, wisdom and overwhelming charity..Is what he needs to be preaching over in Mexico.Oh and they deamnd the path to to citizenship should take no more than seven years, rather than the 13 years it now takes undocumented immigrants who don't qualify as DREAM Act students.

It’s a shame the Americas from way North to South are not on compatible footings; notwithstanding US/Canada of course.

We have all these “hardworking” Mexicans in the States, but why not make the same effort in their homeland? Clearly, they’re not lazy. What’s the problem?

What is it that these Catholic bishops do not understand about thou shalt not covet ?

They think they are going to bring more money into their churches by legalizing all these illegals since they are thinking it is Catholic Mexicans that this whole immigration thing is about .
Boy are they going to be surprised when they see what they have really done once they realize that those Mexican Catholics are just cover for the muslims that are coming into the country.

WAKE UP Satan is using your covetousness to bring in the people who are going to come after you with a sword and you are falling all over yourselves helping him do it.

Because they know our government has been sissified by The One. Nothing will happen to them and its probably being encouraged by him as well. If they tried this crap in Mexico they’d be met by a show of police force armed with shields and batons and they know it.

Catholic Bishops at times remind me of RINO’s, destroying their base by offending those who vote for them.

Pushing immigrations is killing the Party and hurting the Church.

We all believe in being Charitable, but not to the point of our own destruction.

“Render unto Caesar” and Render unto Americans... it is our border and we want it closed to illegals of all races and colors including white. ONLY LEGAL IMMIGRATION! ENFORCE OUR LAWS NOW! These preists are not doing GOD’S work.

“What’s the problem?”

The problem is not theirs but ours. Mexico wants our territory and is acquiring it via demographic shifts.

Thanks to Francis and the homosexual agenda, the Catholic
Church is becoming as anti-American as Obama himself.

>>Mexico wants our territory

They’ve got plenty of territory. Territory without the ability to build and maintain infrastructure is, well, Mexico. Compare the plumbing in San Diego with that across the border in TJ, where the sewer system regularly includes the Pacific Ocean.

And who ate the Anasazi?

Same ol’ tribal savagery, different toilet.

What they envy is the infrastructure that somebody else built - for which the instructions are NOT in Española.

The folks who similarly inhabited Rome, after that rendition of The Empire(tm) self-destructed, dismantled the aqua-ducts for rocks.

Stupid is as stupid does.

Bishop Jaime Soto.

Along with Archbishop José Gomez of Los Angeles, a campaigner for a permanent pro-abortion majority.

These pro-abortion bishops need to hear from Catholics, loud and clear.

I think they stopped listening to us a long time ago.. They made up their minds well their minds are made up. I never these same Pastors include document fraud when speaking about how illegals are working and paying taxes with fraudulent documents. Shouldn’t the church be saying, you cannot use fake or stolen documets. It is ill gotten gains or you cannot drive a car unless you have an approved drivers license /insurance from the state you live in, hit and runs.I never these same Pastors include in their sermons anything about the irs, child tax credits.Filing for tax returns for children in America/Mexico or non existent children.MEANWHILE ILLEGALS ARE COLLECTING HUGE TAX REFUNDS.But the church always leaves this part out of their sermons.
