DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (CBS Atlanta) - At around 1:30am [sic] my family and I were awaken [sic] by the sound of loud and aggressive banging at our front door. The [a]ggressive nature of the banging frightened us so I walked into the guest room that looks over the front of our house and was shocked when I saw 3 large DeKalb County Sheriff SUVs with large flood lights pointed at our house and windows.
That is the beginning of the description offered for a video posted to YouTube that accuses several officers with the DeKalb County Sheriffs Office of harassing a family late one recent night.
The events depicted in the video, posted by the user yachtclubclthrs, were said to have taken place on July 26

Thanks and sorry ... 2 *searches* didn’t find your threads.
Police state.
One-thirty am to serve a warrant for an unpaid civil fine? What criminal nonsense. Policeman everywhere should be ashamed of such terroristic behavior. But they aren’t.
Looking at the story, the civil warrant was a retro-excuse. They found something on one of the occupants after the illegal entry. There was no evidence of a warrant. The police (Sheriff's deputies?) called out the wrong address repeatedly.
This looks pretty much like a case of harassment. They further abused the occupants of the house after the illegal entry in hopes of a reaction that would justify further charges.
Frankly when the police act that way, a reasonable person really should be afraid of being killed by the police in the heat of the moment. Coming to the door in the dead of the night without a warrant and demanding entry with a threat of violence is something that could reasonably lead to mayhem and death.
The proper reply to loud banging and belligerence at 1:30 am is, “you have 30 seconds to get off of my property.” Then count to ten and start blasting.
Luv the part where the JBT says “As a Blayack Mayan you all set us back 45 years!!!”
No, Sheep Dip. Your skills are wanted in another country but, here in the US we do not have to open our homes to JBT’s by mere demand.
You presented no search warrant and you had the wrong address on top of that.
In fact, you didn’t even care if you had the wrong address and told them as much.
Couple of years back the Dekalb Co. Police murdered their just-elected Chief.
Ive had personal contact with them and once, as a witness at trial, the arresting officer tried to threaten me outside the door of the court room. No, joke. My lawyer got all of it. The judge didnt care for that at all. Idiot.
Then a wonderful man interrupted the trial to say that he overheard the prosecutor colluding with the officer in the bathroom to get their stories straight “even if they had to lie.” Disbarred! Lol. No, im not joking. Oh, that was a good day in court.
