Last year a hundred and thirty five blacks were killed, black men, unarmed, killed by vigilantes, police, killed by security guards, so whether it’s the case of Oakland, Calif., or the case in New York, it’s just too much of it.

To whatever degree JJ is telling the truth here, I am truly sorry.

I'm just wondering why those 135 (or whatever) people, killed by whites, are so much more significant than the thousands of others killed by blacks.

During the "crack wars" of the late 1980's and early 1990's, YBM's were "murdering out" to the tune of about 6000 nonblacks per year (half of them figleaved by the FBI as "perpetrators unidentified" so that Reno Justice and the FBI -- the people who covered themselves with glory in Waco -- wouldn't have to admit that Peanut and Trayvon were doing it).

That's down to 4000-4500/year, so we should all be truly grateful.

May I point out, though, that the total number of nonblack people murdered by YBM's annually is about the same as the entire number of blacks lynched by other people from the end of the Civil War to the end of "lynch law" in 1962?
