Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton announced Monday that she will deliver a series of policy-oriented speeches on the topics of transparency and national security and their impact on America's leadership abroad in the "next few months."
Speaking at the American Bar Association's annual meeting in San Francisco, the potential 2016 presidential candidate kicked off the effort on the subject of voting rights, blasting state efforts such as that of Texas, Florida and North Carolina to restrict voting through stringent voter ID laws that passed "often under the cover of addressing the phantom epidemic of 'voter fraud.'"
"Throughout our history we have found too many ways to exclude people from their ownership of the law," Clinton said, delivering a plea to repair the crippled Voting Rights Act.
Clinton's next speech is due to take place in Philadelphia next month, she said.
If it is a speech about her foreign policy successes, it will be the shortest speech in political history.
If it is a speech about her failures and coverups, bring both a lunch and dinner, as well as a cot and pillow.

What legal citizen of the United States does NOT want strict voting laws so that illegals can’t fraudulently vote and negate their own legitimate votes?
But, apparently, Hillary has discovered that she can’t win the presidency without flooding the voting booths with fraudulent votes on her behalf.
So, we can expect her followers to undertake a major campaign to demonize and eliminate voter ID laws, in the courts, in the media, wherever Americans can be attacked as racist, discriminatory, or something-phobic for wanting to assure that all votes cast in American elections are cast by legitimate American voters. Get ready, everyone.

There’s no question about it. Please do notice how the Republicans handle with care, eg “testifying” on Benghazi without being under oath. By the way, Benghazi was 11 months ago... boy Repubs are on top of that situation. They’ll get to the bottom of things... in 20 or 30 years.
The press had better ask her about the 400 US Missiles that are missing in Libya and what a CIA whistle blower is saying today. She may find that she needs to chill on the campaign.
She gave up her government job. She’s no longer a government hack. It’s time for this moron to retire and go home to spend more time with her money. She has no business or authority to be making speeches about American foreign policy. She needs a swift kick in the *** and then sent home. Maybe she could keep Willie off the streets for a while.
Establishment republicans really don't want to change things or upset the apple cart - they just want their turn at being first to slop at the trough. So they go through the motions, being careful not to harm the system as they look forward to the day they get to push democrats aside and get first pick of the loot.
That's why they dislike conservatives as much (or more) than do the democrats.
Conservatives want to stop both democrats and republicans from running amok and getting fat on the backs of the people they are supposed to serve. They want to do away with the system and return to a smaller, constitutional government.
That would ruin it for the democrats and the republicans. Both like the system the way it is - their only real disagreement with each other is who gets to go to the front of the line.
By the time 2016 rolls around, hopefully people will either be bored to tears by Herself! or they will be so sick of her ugly mug and screechy voice that they will do anything to make it stop.
