Try adding some feta cheese to that, the one with basil and tomato.
You just made my mouth water. :)
I’m going to try that.
It’s good. And healthy to boot, not that I worry too much about that. It’s big hit at my dinner parties.......even people who have never eaten “greens” love it prepared that way.
Wag the Wagyu.
Mmmmmm mmmmmmm mmmmmmm.
Thanks, Rushmore Rocks.
We had friends and neighbors from Alabama and she sure knew how to fix all sorts of “greens”. Her fried chicken was out of this world, too. LOL!
Will do.... thank you.
i am growing kale... how many minutes? I am thinking three cloves of garlic, some minced sweet onion and buttah... bacon is all good if it’s “uncured”!
Thank you. We will try that tomorrow night.
My recipe is almost the same. I don’t use garlic and I add a good swag of paprika to the chicken broth.
There is a Portuguese/Northern Spanish soup called berzas that has berzas (a breed of kale), chorizo, beans, potatoes, and a few other things depending on the family recipe. The paprika gives the kale a nice smoky flavor like the chorizo does in the soup.
Thanks. We tried that a couple days ago... turned out good without the guilt. ;>)
The first time I suffered gout, it was excruciating agony. I decided that gout is God’s way of getting men to share the joy of childbirth. I had my first attack in 1986 and in the following years I learned that at the very first inkling of pain in the joints, see a Doctor and get an RX stat. I haven’t been attacked In a few years, thank God, but I’m always alert for the first sign.
I have it in my big toe too.....got a touch of it right now. I use massage and fresh cherries to break up the crystals. I have medicine for it but never take it. It goes away pretty quickly.
My daddy had it really, really bad and wouldn’t be able to walk for a few days at the time. I wish that on BO.
I recently discovered smoked paprika. I love it and use it on everything, well, nearly everything.
Sounds wonderful. I’ll have to find a recipe, or create one, and try it.
Search for sopa de berzas or Portuguese kale and bean soup. Those should give you some good choices.
He always looks so dignified/s
