Why Chris Christie should stand up to Sarah Palin

Over the weekend, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is for big government and trying to go along to get along. She added that Christie has got a schtick going there where hes got a YouTube videographer following him around, kind of these set-up situations sometimes so he can be seen as perhaps a little bit avant-garde and going rogue on things.
Christie said nothing in return. He should. Heres why.
Taking on Palin is good politics for Christie or Jeb Bush or anyone else who is planning to run as a quasi-establishment candidate for president in 2016. (No one will run a public-facing establishment candidacy but there are clearly people, like Christie or Bush, who would run with the blessing of many of the people who comprise the GOP establishment).
Palin is widely viewed by much of the party with the exception of her core followers (and she does retain a real following) as someone who is advocating a direction for the Republican party that could lead to its electoral demise in 2016 and perhaps beyond.
There is a sentiment largely expressed privately, still, at the moment that someone needs to stand up to that wing of the party and say enough is enough. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who faces a conservative primary challenger back home in Kentucky, wont do it. House Speaker John Boehner, who hopes to unite his conference on debt and spending matters this fall, cant/wont do it.
But Christie could and should. He is cruising to re-election in a blue state. He already has a reputation as a guy who speaks truth to Republican power.....

Come from Someone who has
Vladamir Putin is MY President for a tagline
The man is a KGB oligarch, (but what about his stance against gays and his pro military attitude)
Right he is Pro RUSSIAN military.
Old Putin knows everything The Progressives do make your Country weak, he wants his country to be strong, so they can take on us.
Think About next time you say Sarah isn't capable of "Changing our Nations Course", your KGB Putin certainly will.

Haha. Advice from the Compost. Christie can't stand up to Sarah since he is for BIG government and the GOPe 'hands across the aisle' nonsense.

Dana Milbank and Chris Cillizza appeared in a series of humor videos called “Mouthpiece Theater” which appeared on the Washington Post's website. An outcry followed a video in which, during a discussion of the White House “Beer Summit”, they chose new brands for a number of people, including “Mad Bitch Beer” for Hillary Rodham Clinton. Both men apologized for the video and the series was canceled.[4]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Cillizza
Bitch Beer. LOL. I'm surprised he's still got a job.

One picture is worth a thousand words. All Sarah would have to do is put this on her FB page .... ‘nuff said.

Never forget this photo. Along with Colin Powell, voter fraud and many conservatives sitting home we got four more years of budding communism.

In my opinion you are wrong about the ‘shooting themselves in the foot’ part.
Their aims have been true, on their enemy target(s).
It is just that Conservatives and the rise up of tea party are more dangerous to them than the opposition political party.

I love it when she puts Spanky (Christie) and Alfalfa (Jeb) over her knees and applies a liberal spanking. They need to stand up to Buckwheat if they want our votes.

These people are all part of the same gang. They don't like when people diss "Our Gang". Spanky and Alfalfa will stand up to those who don't want Buckwheat running the place.
Spanky and Buckwheat are supposed to be "opponents", right?

I wonder if anybody is going to tell this WaPo idiot exactly why Christie, or any of the others, will not “take Sarah Palin on.”
