While I avoid the ethanol junk, in many places you have no idea whether or not the regular gas you are pumping has ethanol. Usually the 89 or 88 octane gas has ethanol, but in states like Minnesota “oxygenated gasoline” is mandated so it is likely the 87 octane gas also has as much as 10% ethanol too. I fear that the 15% ethanol blend will similarly be disguised from consumers and lead many of us to have voided warranties and expensive fuel system problems as a result.
