CBS This Morning omitted the fact that former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D., Ill.) is a Democrat during a story Wednesday about the disgraced politicians sentencing for misuse of campaign funds.
Jackson faces up to five years in prison after pleading guilty to spending nearly $750,000 in campaign funds on items like mink coats and a Rolex. His wife Sandra, a former Chicago alderman, also will be sentenced on a related charge of failing to report about $600,000 in taxable income.

Why should this omission surprise anyone?
I've noticed not even FOX News mentions that Weiner, Spitzer and Filner are DemocRATS when they do stories on them.
So how many people would suppose he is a Republican?
Censorship, straight up...
Ha! If Bush spit on the sidewalk, all youd hear about is that hes a Republican!!
The fifth-column media continues to sink into the abyss of treason and moral rot.
Local stations in Reno have a constant barrage of ads calling themselves UNBIASED.
Sure they are..........
I think everyone knows he’s a Democrat.
I’m surprised that SeeBS didn’t live up to its usual journalistic standards and claim he’s a Republican.
Standard bias for the left-a$$-kissing media.
The MSM should have their face rubbed in it by using redundancy, in following up their sanitized stories. For example:
“...former (D., Ill.) Rep. (D., Ill.) Jesse (D., Ill.) Jackson Jr. (D., Ill.)...”
I wonder how quickly they would delete the comments?
I remember when Larry Craig had his “wide stance” problem at the Minneapolis Airport, we had news updates on the top and bottom of EVERY hour that all started “Republican Senator Larry Craig”... That was on FoxNews. I don’t know what CNNCBSABCNBSPBS were doing, but I can guess it was even worse.
Maybe people in Chicago will storm the prison and spring Jackson, Jr., from prison. They need him “representing” them again.
