President Obama's former personal aide said Wednesday that the president was so "irritated" by controversy over his birthplace that he wanted to hold an "impromptu press conference" when he discovered the long-form version of his birth certificate, only to be dissuaded by his advisers.
Reggie Love, the former body man to the president, told UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs that the delay in producing the president's birth certificate was because when "your parents don't live together (and) you travel all over the world, documents get lost."
"He wanted to just have an impromptu press conference, just walk in to the press briefing room in the White House and put it down on the podium. And everyone was like 'That's a really bad idea,' " Love said. "But he was very gung-ho about doing it, because he was so irritated about it."
The president did, in fact, appear before the press when the certificate was released in April 2011, decrying the issue as a "sideshow."
“We do not have time for this kind of silliness. We’ve got better stuff to do," Obama said.

The real question is if Obama had found his long form birth certificate as Reggie stated, why did he have to request Loretta Fuddy at the Hawaii Dept. Of Health to allow him a special waiver to release it and send Perkins Coie Attorney Judith Corley to fly and retrieve it in Honolulu? It tells me that the birth certificate that Obama found is not the same as the birth certificate he released to the public on April 27, 2011.
You know it's really bad when entire STATES get lost. He tried, and tried to get back to his berf place, but Hawaii was nowhere to be found!
The US Postal system wouldn't let him use their services, and Fed Ex and UPS are just plain racist and refuse to let him send or receive letters or anything! Not that they could have done anything for him, what with Hawaii being missing and all.

What was presented was a total fabrication. It is an electronic compilation of a document that does not exist.
Obama's reaction is an indication that he is hiding something. He tries to laugh this off by mentioning it publicly often to use it as a weapon against those who question the lack of documentation. I am sure a psychiatrist would have a field day analyzing why Obama brings up the BC issue so often. He is flaunting it just to irritate his detractors or maybe he really wants to get caught.

It has been suggested that Mr Love’s job responsibilities were slightly larger in scope and in a bit more of a personal nature than those of a conventional butler.

Wow, the only reason this would have been a “bad idea” is if the birth certificate was not authentic. If it was, Obama had plenty of opportunities to present one of the two hard copies in a court of law where it could be authenticated. He refused. Every single time.

Well then he released his LF certificate according to this story but it was a forgery and not a LF certificate so IOW... obama’s sperm receptacle reggie love is lying.
What a crock. A parent or gurdian of a minor child, or the individual once an adult, can order a certified copy of a BC at any time. I have several copies of my BC, and at least two of them were obtained later.
He would have needed the BC to get into elelmentary school, to get a driver's license and likely apply to college.

Breitbart and theBlaze currently have some high visibility coverage of the Reggie Love interview comments about playing cards during the Bin Laden raid. Of course neither of the sites bothers to mention the discrepancy about Obama “finding” his birth certificate.
I attempted to post comments to both sites, but oddly those comments appear to have been lost to moderation. Here’s the one I attempted to post to the brief article by Awr Hawkins at breitbart.com:
How convenient that when Breitbart’s team reviewed this Reggie Love interview video, no one happened to notice any problems with Love’s personal eyewitness account of being there when Barack Obama “found” his long-misplaced birth certificate. In the interview, Mr. Love uses language that is curiously difficult to reconcile with the account from White House and that of the Hawaii Health Director Loretta Fuddy. Team Obama’s official line, which has been swallowed wholesale by Breitbart.com since day one, is that Obama never found a copy of his Birth Certificate, but rather was forced to specially request that Fuddy and Alvin T. Onaka make a policy exception in order to avail a new certified copy for hand delivery to the White House by Mr. Obama’s lawyer, Judith Corley.
Since Breitbart.com continues apparently to be convinced the Obama administration has been upright and honest about the birth certificate, I guess they assume Reggie Love was just fabricating that bit of information. It’s strange though to me, that Breitbart’s news editors take Love at his word about the details of Obama’s activities during the Bin Laden raid which occurred on May 1, 2011, even though it took place only four days after the press conference (on April 27) in which the pdf “copy” (riddled with dubious digital artifacts) of the newly proffered Birth Certificate was posted to the White House website.
I presume the Body Man’s memory is to be trusted as accurate for events that happened as recently as May 2011, but any account he reveals for events that took place as long ago as, say, April 27th of the same year are likely to be obscured by the passage of time? For Mr. Awr Hawkins to conclude otherwise would be to risk a skeptical glance toward Obama’s official identity declarations, but Breitbart.com is well known to yoked in with the broad journalism community in its immutable commitment to avert its eyes from the tiniest of shadowy hints about that story.
Surely, Mr. Obama would not subject Americans to deceit or fraud when it comes to his own identity? Surely Joe Arpaio and his investigators (and the Court-certified Document examiner who has been relied upon by Obama’s own law firm) are simply fuzzy and confused about all that—just like Reggie Love is. Ehh, Breitbart? Mr. Hawkins?
