In a disturbing revelation about the treatment of America's most severely wounded troops, Fox News has learned the military earlier this month decided to invalidate meal tickets and reduce hours for the sole dining facility in the Walter Reed building where they are recovering.
The decision affects the Warrior Cafe located inside building 62, home to all multiple amputees and long-term, recovering patients at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.
The decision would mean wounded warriors who would normally have a government-funded meal just down the hall would have to walk, wheel or limp nearly a half-mile across the Walter Reed campus to the temporary "food trailer" for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Just another benefit of Obama’s sequester in making the Wounded Warriors get more exercise to help them recover. Next they should require them to do the old run, dodge, and jump and the 50 foot overhead ladder before they get their meals. Of course, the armless would have to do the ladder and the legless do the run-dodge-jump, and not vice-versa. And perhaps Ms. Michelle could create a hip-hop cadence for them to do their exercise in step with.

This makes me physically ill. I was honored to stand with my fellow freepers, often including Doctor Raoul, on several occasions at the entrance to the old WRMC to applaud the troops as some were taken by bus out to dinner on Friday evenings.

Look no further than the purfumed princes of the five sided puzzle palace as well as those field and company grade officers who are brown nosing boot lickers who don’t give two sh*ts about the troops as long as they get that next promotion as to why they havn’t done something by now.
