Because voters in Walker’s home state want him to stay in the Governor’s chair. He’s doing a great job for Wisconsin and there’s lots of work left to do.
So Sabato doesn’t see Palin running?
Any ‘list’ that does not mention immigration in the profiles of Rubio, Paul and Ryan is, to be charitable, incomplete. And this ‘list’ doesn’t.
Ryan couldn't deliver Wisconsin. What makes you think Walker can?
Ryan is toast, he voted against Amash Amendment.
That vote is a Litmus test. Anyone voting no clearly doesn’t care about the constitution or liberty. See Ya Paul.
Ryan was a Congressman, he even lost his own hometown.
Walker won the entire state — TWICE.
Walker would be AWESOME!!
And they used to say the GOP didn’t have depth.
You’ve got Hillary and a bunch of losers.
Screw everyone.
2016 - Sarah Palin.
Pros, been vetted already, woman who would appeal to mothers who work, take care of a family and still have time to catch a salmon or shoot a moose. Ran a state who has vast oil reserves. Conservatives love her, liberals hate her.
Cons, GOPe will slit their throats before giving her the nomination. Media will scorch the earth before writing something positive. Trig will be on every magazine with the headline, like son like mother.
Wildcard - moderates will be able to hang their hats around someone who actuall stands for something. For lack of a conservative leader, mods will either vote for the squish or the rat, and it is usually the rat as they have better slogans.
Hear-hear!!
Fun Trivia: If Scott Walker were to win, he will join the following past Presidents who either, never went to college or did not graduate from college:
George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Andrew Johnson, Abraham Lincoln, Grover Cleveland, Martin Van Buren, Millard Fillmore, Zachary Taylor, William McKinley and Harry Truman
Cruz is a close second, they'll try to use the not natural born BS on him.
Both are well-known Wisconsin politicians. And the one who ran for national office couldn’t carry the state. Why should we think that the other one carrying it is a given?
When it comes down to the Constitution and liberty on the one hand and a sound bite that might help you get re-elected on the other hand, it's not to hard to guess which side the overwhelming majority of politicians of both parties will choose.
Another good reason I like him! All those who DID finish college...especially the “elites”...have become libs or RINOS. Name ONE that hasn’t!
Walker is a fresh face, an outsider and he is a bulldog when it comes to doing the right thing in the face of opposition, including riots in the capitol!
I “friended” him on Facebook and I like what he is doing in Wisconsin. The people seem to love him...even some of the ones who opposed him...because he truly has turned that state around from possible bankruptcy.
Or that’s MY take on it. :)
RE: Why should we think that the other one carrying it is a given?
Because he won the state TWICE, even in the face of HUGE opposition and money spent to unseat him.
Sarah’s biggest problem will be that the low-info majority now believes that she actually IS a character on Saturday Night Live.
If Sarah Palin is elected she may hold the record for most colleges or universities attended in pursuit of an undergraduate degree.
Nothing implied in that, just a fun fact.
Since when is there one Tea Party and one agenda? What are "all key issues?" Where is this written?
Gov’t needs to at least do some record keeping on the marriage issue since divorce and death mean there’s inheritance, property, taxation issues to deal with. However, it is gov’t getting into the marriage licensing business that ultimately lead to this point. This fact you cannot deny.
