Republican hopes for retaking control in Washington, D.C., will rely heavily on a red tide in bluest New England, according to GOP bigwigs, who today are showcasing one of their leading White House hopes New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who doubles as a poster child for breaking the Democratic vise grip.

GOP doesn’t have a future anywhere if they don’t make up their minds to stand for something.
Meanwhile I see a very purple or lilac future for the Republicans as they change more and more to make the NY Times and Washington Post happy.
That’ll be great. They’re going to need a start as they lose Texas to amnesty
This is such bull. I live in MA. The establishment republicans cream their pants over “New England-style” republicans such as Scott Brown, Lincoln Chafee (now a democrat), Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, etc.
Last November Richard Tisei, a gay republican state senator was soundly defeated. This same worthless republican was also the lieutentant-governor nominee, chosen by worthless moderate Charlie Baker who was also soundly defeated in 2010.
Conservatives can win in New England if they run as such but not these worthless moderates because the democrats will out-liberal them every time.
Hate to break it to them, but New Jersey is not in New England.

This is the same state where they allow abortions and pro fag stuff, right? How can a Pubbie’ win there unless they are as RINO as Mclame.
HUH?
The Taxachusetts of the Kennedys and the Fake White Indian? It’s little clone Rhode Island? Connecticut? Greenie Weenie Vermont, likely our first state to go Single Payer?
What are they smokin’?
And then there was Gabe Gomez, RINO for senate, who went campaigning with his young son at gay pride events. He was more liberal than a lot of the old style MA democrats still robotically pulling the lever for "D".
Yes, I’m sure people in Maine will warm right up to the GOP after it screwed over their delegates at the 2012 convention just to prove they could do it and get away with it.
Oh, yeah. Forgot about Gomez. Totally worthless candidate. But he was pushed and funded by the Scott Brown crony who is now head of the MA republican party.
::::rolls eyes:::: If Christi is the kind of Republican we can expect from the NE, then what's the difference if the R's or the D's take control of Congress? (Hint: none)
That has become glaringly apparent. And here is their current standard-bearer, "Boss Christie":
Tisei lost by 1%, hardly a “sound defeat.” Still, he would’ve been a Trojan Horse if he had won (now they’re pimping another gay leftist RINO, DiMaio, out in California for a House seat). If Cap’n McQueeg and Slick Willard couldn’t carry New England, another liberal phony like Corpulent Christie won’t either.
delusion....
Reagan also easily won VT in both elections. We usually blame transplants for the electoral mess here but something has fundamentally changed here. I think it is welfare addiction. When the farmers got on the government tit I knew it was trouble.
