There is a "List" and I am on it!

I've often heard talk (and participated in it) of the government having a "list" of people they are watching. I believe it's been going on for longer than I've been alive.

I did a search for my Freeper name and found a link that confirms (in my opinion) that I am on this list.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10022162463

Many others from FreeRepublic are on this link also as it seems "they" are saying we are people who will fire on the government in certain instances.

The ironic thing is if the government ever went Stalinist, it would probably go after DU types *first*. This is because fools like Ayers and Van Jones want real power to control and dominate others, and the fanatical leftists who would be in power would not want to share it with them.

And like the Soviet trials, where Mensheviks and other such “liberal” communists were tried in kangaroo courts and executed (that *that*, “McCarthyism” whiners), they all dutifully confessed to their failure as communists, likely without torture, that they had failed the party agenda, and asked to be punished.

People who post to DU really need to talk to those who lived in such conditions as North Korea, Red Khmer Cambodia, Vietnam, Czechoslovakia (1968), Poland, East Germany, etc. They would soon discover that what they think are the means to get them what they want, has very, very different ends than what they want.

Me too...taxes I mean. 2010. Questioned mortgage deduction of over 10,000 interest. Got that settled. Then got a letter for 2011. I actually forgot (refinanced during the year) nearly 4500 worth of interest. Should be getting money back. Anyway, it's quite a coincidence, seeing that the IRS has been accused, and caught targeting Conservatives.

Prolly just being paranoid. Then again, they are looking at my taxes. For the first time and I've been paying for nearly 35 years now.....

I Googled Ditter and discovered that I am an evil troll who wanders the neighborhood beating people up. Who knew????

There are also a lot of people who's last name is Ditter and they have a number of business. Ditter is also on twitter, but it isn't me.

It’s no secret that the DUmmies watch us just like we watch them. That thread does serve as a good example of caution in public speech - because what you post to the internet is there for all to see - and manipulate.

That said, there was nothing untoward in the snippet of FReeper commentary that they lifted and reposted - they just presented it with a spin meant to imply insurrectionist attitudes.

DUmmies can be such........dummies ;-)

Yes. The Russians called those people “useful idiots”. They pushed the cause then after the cause was achieved they were eliminated, deemed threats.

No probably to it. History is our guide. Look at Venezuela as a recent example.

I, too, googled mine. My son signed me up for Facebook years ago and I never go to that site but see that 16 people LIKE me. Wow! There is also a link to FR which I thought was interesting.

The number of times that someone’s real name, address and Google picture of their home appear is really scary. Tried to get rid of some of the listings two years ago but there are some new ones since that time. Remember going on-line last fall to get some auto insurance quotes and up popped a picture of my house and car with the question, “Is this the car that you want to insure? Mileage shown was almost spot on. I had just renewed my license and gone through my annual safety inspection so this information is obviously being supplied by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. Nothing you do is private any more.

I was recently blessed to obtain access to a brand new two volume set of "Debate on the Constitution" -- the writings of our founders, as they debated what would, finally, become our Constitution.

The earliest mention of the right to bear arms (on p. 155 of 1236 in the first volume) is this:

"Another source of power in a government is a military force. But, this, to be efficient, must be superior to any force that exists among the people, or which they can command; for otherwise, this force would be annihilated, on the first acts of of oppressive aggression. Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed, as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States. A military force, at the command of Congress, can execute no laws, but such as the people perceive to be just and constitutional; for they will possess the power, and jealousy will raise the inclination, to resist the execution of a law which appears to them to be unjust and oppressive. <SNIP> The source of power is in the people of this country, and cannot for ages, and probably never, will be removed."

"Marcus", the author of the above quotation -- dated October 15, 1787 -- knew what he was talking about.

~~~~~~~~~
I read the comments of the feckless liberal t*rds at DUmb@$$ Underwear" and, although a very few might have the guts to join with a leftist dictator's JBST's, the facts are this:
  1. The vast majority of troops in today's "standing army" (U.S. Armed Forces) are there precisely -- because they are -- patriots -- who will defect and join with their countrymen if ordered by a dictatorial pResident to fire upon their fellow Americans. (Just ask any GI or Veteran you know well enough to do so...)
  2. The DUmb@$$3$ cite a theoretical body-armored force of thirty (30) JBSTs assaulting a single patriot's home.
  3. In this day of body armor, those in the know have long since changed their "defense drill" from "two to center of mass and one to the head" to "head shots -- until they drop".
  4. Any reasonably competent rifleman should be able to execute two head shots on a field of thirty targets before he is disabled.
  5. At that rate, fifteen such unConstitutional assaults would result in total elimination of that entire 30-member JBST force. (With a maximum of just fifteen (15) Patriots eliminated...)
  6. And that attrition rate does not take into consideration that, when the news spreads of such government perfidy, tacit "Open Hunting Season" would be declared on anyone daring to don the government JBST uniform -- wherever they are (in -- or out of -- uniform).
  7. Assume that a dictator could raise a "standing army" of 100 thousand JBSTs.
  8. How long would they expect to survive against a populace of 100 MILLION armed Patriots? (That's a 1,000:1 odds ratio for the mathematically deficient...)
  9. Without doubt, the would-be JBSTs are already aware of those odds (or would be forcibly so enlightened after their first few unConstitutional assaults).
  10. Even the most rabidly power-hungry of the would-be JBSTs want to go home to their families... How many would be willing to "fight to the last man" to honor any dictator's madness? How many such "gun-grabbing" assaults would actually be manned? Not many...
Even if a dictator were insane enough to "light the fuze" by ordering his JBSTs to assault Americans in their homes to kill them and seize their weapons, few of the JBSTs would actually be willing to follow his orders. And da*ned few would be stupid enough to repeat that NO-WIN scenario more than a very few times.
And there would still be at least 99,550,000 armed patriots remaining to ensure that the dictator -- and his few remaining supporters -- would not remain in power in sufficient numbers to ever purse such idiocy again.
Those odds are well known by those who would try to disarm Americans.
~~~~~~~~~~~

I seriously doubt that -- even supported by UN troops (whose blue helmets make excellent aiming points) -- the NO POSSIBLE WIN attempt to forcibly disarm America's People will ever be made.

Just ask "Marcus" and his fellow Patriots:

"Amendment II.  A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

Hmmm. I use ixquickdotcom and found someone has set up a myspace page with My handle, and a linky back to My profile page but not much else. Google was totally useless. I guess living in the non-citified portions of this great land and having no permanent location, let alone being a NonResident citizen has its benifits. *grin* Great news!
