The museums were different back then along with the rioters .... TV sets and sunburned looters .... same casting just a different time.....
I don’t any museum was looted in the Watt’s riots and I know they weren’t in the Rodney King riots. Most of both riots were in predominantly black areas with the King riot being very much in K-Town {Koreatown].
Riots everywhere involve looting.
Someone upthread noted the riots in Baghdad involving looting antiquities.
