Aug 17, 2013 DAMASCUS (AP) - Gunmen shot dead 11 people, mostly Christians, in central Syria on Saturday, in an attack aimed at members of the religious minority.
The resident, citing eyewitnesses, told The Associated Press that the gunmen randomly opened fire on roadside restaurants in a drive-by shooting outside Ein al-Ajouz as Christians were celebrating a feast day.

MILITARY.COM EXCERPT---US Pentagon officials declined to give specifics on conversations between DOD's Chuck Hagel and Egyptian Gen al-Sisi, but chief Pentagon spokesman George Little said that "US officials at all levels have made it clear that we support the democratic process in Egypt and that we hope that this period of tension can be resolved in a peaceful manner and that violence can be avoided." "We don't support any single party or group," Little said. "We believe that this needs to be resolved through political means."
Although the officials would not discuss the specifics of the military-to- military talks, the U.S. would need Gen al-Sisi's approval to move through Egyptian air space if Washington decided to send Marines to aid in the evacuation of U.S. personnel.
About 550 Marines and their tilt-rotor MV-22 Osprey aircraft are at bases in Spain and Italy on standby if they are needed. After the Iraq war, Christians had to find a place they would be safer. Most went to Syria. Now since Obama and McCain are helping the terrorists, Christians are being killed.
If Muslims takeover, the first people to be killed will be homosexuals, then actors, then authors of novels, then remaining intellectuals in universities. That is the worst possible scenario for liberals and leftists.
I’ve never read of that sort of thing happening. Usually it’s all the Christians, Jews, Hindus and Buddhists killed, and women and children turned into slaves, including sex slaves. Since so many Moslems in some of theses countries are pederasts, they have a convoluted atittude towards homosexuals.
I did not read about it, I lived in a Muslim area and grew up there and my close childhood friends were Muslims & Hindu’s and Christians. First hand information is usually better than reading a news blurb. OK, so we kids did not discuss about intellectuals and college professors but we certainly talked about homosexuals and what our own religions told us about it.
