Putin acts in support of Egyptian military
Debka ^ | Aug 3, 2013 | DebkaFile Exclusive

Posted on 08/17/2013 11:35:27 PM PDT by Innovative

Russian President Vladimir Putin called an extraordinary session at the Kremlin Saturday to "discuss the situation in Egypt and take the necessary steps to the put Russian military facilities at the Egyptian military's disposal," said an announcement in Moscow, without elaborating. Putin said further that "Russia will arrange for joint military exercises with the Egyptian army." DEBKAfile: Moscow's steps directly conflict with Western condemnation of the Egyptian military's crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood. They were taken shortly after President Barack Obama cancelled a joint military exercise with Egypt as a mark of US disapproval.

A longer, more detailed article discusses Putin's support for the Egyptian military, against the Muslim Brotherhood.

Apparently Putin was planning to go to Egypt, but obviously as a result of the severe unrest he didn't.

But a couple of good excerpts from the article I linked:

"For Putin, this will be his second trip to Cairo; his first took place in 2005 when Hosni Mubarak was president. He will play it to the hilt as a platform to show the world, and especially Arab Muslims, that he alone of the world's five leading powers is openly committed to fighting radical Islam and ready to assist any Arab leader sharing this commitment.

Putin hopes to come away from Cairo as champion of the war on radical Islam in two important Arab countries and the most reliable ally of forces for moderation."

One does need to pick sides and when one side is radical Islam, whatever the other side may be, it's the better one.

In the meantime:

“..attempts by Hagel and Ashton to twist the Egyptian general’s arm into releasing Morsi from detention and re-integrating the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt’s national politics.

Hagel specifically pressed him to bring Muslim Brotherhood members into the interim government and give them free rein to run candidates for parliament in early 2014.”

Yet, Russia is in bed with Iran.

That's a tough dichotomy to explain.

Debka is in Israel, I understand it is run by people who are actually very much in the know. They are most certainly pro-Israel, but as far as news stories, they are way ahead of the MSM. Just because the MSM doesn’t pick up and never mentions many of the news stories Debka publishes, some people don’t believe Debka, but they do believe the MSM. Go, figure...

Russia only cares about and is looking out for their own interests, which is actually a sensible, pragmatic attitude When you look at it from that angle, their actions make a lot more sense.

They are using Iran against us — not to mention the oil Iran controls. But Russia is definitely against Muslim terrorists taking over the world.

That's pretty much how I see Putin as well....He's in the game and playing for keeps...and that with a plan in mind one can follow if you watch his moves close enough.

This one Putins played with Egypt was simply waiting til OBOZO showed his hand...and like a fool he did and Putin trumped him like a snake in the grass.

Also interesting is how the Arabian King/nation has stepped up to the plate in support of the Egyptian Military....very interesting political maneuvers happening.

US: BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW! Your not being a Democracy, what about the freedom to assemble, Tom Paine's, rights and liberties, the Founding Fathers???!!!

Egypt: Grow up, stop being a baby, see the world as it is in this region and help us fight YOUR enemy too! We are not, follower of...uh, what is his name? Dom Bane? We do not know this man or his works.

US: You are not being guided by the Founding Fathers and the Enlightenment!

Egypt: Founding...? Light? What?

US: We're going to cut off our aid.

Egypt: Oh, Putin?

Hopefully all our former allies cut us off and head to Russia. Then Americans will be forced into drilling our own resources, building our own products with them and we won’r be sending out military off on social experiments.

This just keeps getting better and better. Obama is toast, and not whole wheat either. Obama is just stale White Bread, turning to mould, and a rewrite is due , tentatively called “Screams from My Father.”.

Putin is about to bore Obama another rectal orifice ( that makes number 3 or 4?).I never thought I would cheer a Russian leader.

Soon the Sunni/Sauds and the Shiite/Iranians will have a war which envelopes the entire middle East, and the Saudi oil empire and Mecca are directly at risk.Obama’s Saudi mentors must not be very happy with him, one kiss to the King of Sauds ring, too far.I am sure they are just now pining for the good old days of Mohammar Ghadaffi.

I am sure Benjamin Nethanyahu has produced several internal security directives which contain terms such as “low profile” , “redirect”,”dodge”,”rope a dope”,”deflect”,”parry”, and “DUCK!”.Israel will be surrounded by either sea or civil war in every cardinal direction, when Jordon falls , thanks to the machinations of the Black Purple Pumpernill of “Hope n’ Change “ of the USA.Even Robert Mugabe has more sense.

Putin is about to become “da man!” , a champion against fascism.Who would have thunk it?
But then communists never did get along with fascists very well.Obama may very well have a bunker awaiting him in his near future.

Of course Obama intentionally forced Snowden to seek asylum in Russia by intimidating every other nation Snowden preferred. This was the only flaw in Snowden’s escape plan. He did not consider this. That a traitorous Obama would force him to live in Russia where he will eventually give up all his NSA data

The Bozo use to see Reggie Love on the sly, whenever he went out of town/country, such as Florida this years, But the Bozo is now seeing Reg, even when the Mooch is in tow on the same trip, such as South Africa recently. Now the Mooch knows that the public knows about the Bozo and his boyfriends, i.e. Love...just Google the subject and the info is out there...apparently she doesn't mind looking like a fool, a woman played by a man who loves men. I wonder why the change in her attitude...she knows the score, and now doesn't mind being part of this “threesome.”

Methinks Debka is a disinformation site run by the Israeli army or some such thing. Their stories of a strange mix between detailed, insider fact and fantasy. Some reports seem right on while others, bogus.
Take them with a grain of salt but try to read between the lines. In any event, it is interesting reading. Anybody take out a membership there? Debka could mean "Dafka" in Hebrew which means 'just because' or 'on purpose' or 'out of spite'.

Once again, Putin is demonstrating why he is a far better leader than Obama. While the Obama Regime continues to support the enemies of America (Al Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, etc.) and the other insurrectionists in Syria, Egypt and North Africa, Russia is moving to support governments that, while not our friends, are certainly not hostile towards us.

It’s clear Russia is still playing the Cold War game of geopolitical alliances while Obama can’t quite figure out who either his friends or enemies are. His foreign policy ineptitude is making Americans far less safer in the world, and undoing years of hard fought geopolitical gains and strategic alliances built by previous administrations.

He is not just an ideologue: he is a naive idealist who hasn’t a clue as to how the real world works.

Unlike Obama, Putin actually loves and respects his country

Makes a big difference in the choices you make when you are the president of a country, whether you love your country and are proud of it, or despise it and are ashamed of it

He double toothpicks, even the leader of North Korea has more love for his country than obama has for his!

Name another world leader who spent 5 years on international apology tours (in between luxury vacations with his wife and his boyfriend..erk)

It’s not difficult to explain at all. Saudi Arabia and Iran are fighting proxy wars all over the middle east right now.

Saudi Arabia is funding AlQaeda/Mulsim Brotherhood and Iran is supporting Assad, etc.

Russia is backing Iran and Obama is backing the Saudis.

It must be hard for journalists covering world events to decide which "governments" to question in these tense times.

Taking a risk of angering the wrong entities would be an odd choice between getting blown up or having an instant heart attack the Chicago way, getting poisoned the good old fashioned KGB way or getting decapitated by the "brothers" or being totally ignored and then just financially wiped out by the your local money handlers (IRS).

Egyptian Islamists target Christians as security tightens ahead of protests

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2013/08/18/egyptian-islamists-attack-christian-churches/

“In the four days since security forces cleared two sit-in camps by Morsi supporters, Islamists have attacked dozens of Coptic churches, along with homes and businesses owned by the Christian minority. The campaign of intimidation appears to be a warning to Christians outside Cairo to stand down from political activism.”

Did anyone hear Obama condemn this? Me neither...

Debka has good information in it, you have to read between the lines.

I see it as Israeli pysch warfare with some stories crying out with fear over Israel’s vulnerability to its enemies and others proclaiming the strength of Israel in the face of its enemies.

Debka articles often arouse sympathy for Israel and also appear designed to intimidate and confuse enemies.

They put out stuff that they hope folks like Assad, Hezbollah, Iran etc. etc. etc. are reading and worrying about.
