Speaking Thursday at a joint appearance with Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Secretary of State John Kerry admitted that there were “many al Qaeda leaders now operating in Syria”—where President Barack Obama decided two months ago to provide military support to rebel forces fighting alongside al Qaeda to overthrow the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Asad.

Asad is a member of the Alawite sect, which is a derivative of Shiite Islam; the Syrian rebels are predominantly Sunni, and al Qaeda is Sunni. …

In June, six months after his administration designated the Nusra Front an al Qaeda alias and terrorist group, President Obama decided to provide military support to the Syrian opposition. …

Well....he did figure out the delay tactics by the Paris US-negotiation team to end the Vietnam War, and even tried to point this out.

I don’t think there is anybody bright enough to figure out this Syria or Egyptian mess.

Good point, now it makes sense. Hard to shake off the concept that they care about America less than lining their pockets...and keeping their deadly agendas.

You don't have to figure these messes out. You have to see what the end game is and how to align it with YOUR NATIONAL INTERESTS. Egypt may be doing a nasty job of it but in that part of the world it's “us or them”. The Egyptian generals know that they must CRUSH the MB or the MB will crush them as they did with Sadat. It has to be lopsided and bloody so that the MB will go back underground again, for another 80 years.
Look what the MB did in Turkey. They pulverized the Army and now they have total control. Obama does not understand that the Egyptian Army must be decisive, with an iron fist if they have half a chance of stabilizing Egypt.

Just looking at him reminds me of the face and IQ of Herman Munster (Fred Gwynn?) from the classic 60’s TV show the Munsters...

“Many al-Qaeda now operating in Syria”

Remember how the administration tried to mollify us into thinking these were “rebels” with whom we could do business? Remember McCain’s “bro” pics with the terrorists he went there to meet?

What say McQueeg, Graham and the rest of the neocons who were oh-so-earnest in their urgings for us to arm those animals???

America, under Obama-the-Tyrant,
is FOR al Qaeda and against the Egyptian, Israeli,
Syrian, AND American people.

Is there NO ONE in DC or the Pentagon that remembers AND cares?

The Egyptian military JUST arrested the brother of al Qaeda mastermind of this attack(Ayman Al Zawahiri):

Mohammed al Zawahiri, key player in the MB and on the Morsi team, picked up in Giza this week

Mohammed al Zawahiri: Just another one of those wacky al Zawahiri boys, walkin’ the streets of Cairo, jivin’ with the “brothers”, talking smack about jihad with his peeps in the Morsi “Jews are apes and pigs” govt, collecting a paycheck for his work as head of the “ultra conservative” Jihadi Salafist movement
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/front/special/sala.html

Obama’s crack national security and intelligence agencies can’t find Ayman al Zawahiri for 12 years but the Egyptian military picks up his bro in Giza for jaywalking?

before he was formally educated, he likely was intelligent. After years of learning how to play the game, we are looking at an individual whose ambitions resulted in nothing more than an app of political correctness in pursuit of power, ie no ability to reason or use common sense

Kerry has been a “wannabe” for decades. His anti-war platitudes gave him the springboard to be somebody and while it worked out well for him financially and politically, it was a disaster for the nation and continues to be so, especially under the current resident of the WH.

When you look at John F’ing Kerry's eyes, what you get back is a vacuous stare. If Kerry ever had an original thought in his head, it would commit suicide from despair and loneliness. Kerry, the man, is scum-sucking weasel. He's perfectly qualified as a politician.

What I do is ignore what they say, watch what they do, and try to figure out the real agenda from what they’re really advancing.
