In spite of complaints by female and male students about the prevalence of sexual attacks by fellow students on college campuses, the administrations continue to pretend it is not a problem.

Interesting that you only post your own Examiner stuff and never make a comment:

One might almost think you were only here to get hits.
And yet college administrations want men and women living in the same dorm building. INSANE!
Says the blog cop who equates blogs to rape.
She posted her story can I file a rape charge?
Be interesting to see what % of all college campus rapes are committed by members of the football and basketball teams and the race of the perpetrators....
Feel free.
All part of the agenda. Breaking down America
I think you’re on to something there.
Filled with erroneous statistics
and impossible claims;
and furthering the goal of demonizing
the one-half of the human race that happens
to be male
(”We’re all rapists...!”)
However. Since Mumblebumbler is a shill for the New York Times and other liberal media, fewer and fewer Freepers give a crap what mumbles posts.
I live not far from the University of Michigan and from what I see in the local news, liberalism is a major factor.
First they scream that police aren’t doing enough to protect them. Then police simply point out that they can’t protect everyone and offer common sense solutions to remain safe like not being black out drunk and wandering the streets at 2 AM. This is met with screams of misogyny. Police then suggest that maybe a personal firearm would offer the protection they seek and the same idiots then go ballistic over the armed society. Finally it devolves to the old “Boys should be taught to not rape” argument.
Liberals create their own unsustainable little worlds that they themselves can’t live in but its all somebody else’s fault.
I don’t understand calling the campus police for a rape. Call the real police, file charges, and check with them daily to track their progress. If it’s a forcible rape, fight back hard enough to leave marks on the attacker or at least to compel him to leave marks on you (evidence matters!). If it’s some variant of Rohypnol/GHB,Ketamine, etc. get tested as soon as possible to prove that you were drugged and incapable of giving consent (evidence matters!). If it was consensual and you changed your mind later, do not file a false report - the frequent false claims make real victims less believable and make rape a safer crime for the predators. Campus police are there for the minor offenses associated with high spirits and immaturity, and for the property crimes that come with inattention to that risk; they are not trained to deal with terrorist mass murderers (RIP, Officer Sean Collier) or with rapists.
The hard part is distinguishing between a forcible rape and a change of mind the next morning. It’s a tough law enforcement question, one for which I do not know the answer, but I would not expect the Campus Police to be the best law enforcement organization for dealing with that challenge. Note: I was a juror in a rape case, and I voted with eleven others to send that evil predator away for a long time. I’m grateful to the victim for making the case easy to prove - brave girl.
My favorite bit of liberal idiocy is “Boys should be taught to not rape”.
I personally don’t remember that conversation with my parents but I was raised with a reasonable set of morals in a world where not everything was a moral free for all.
So far nearly 50 years without raping anyone. Please pray that I can keep myself under control.
Are we discussing Rape-Rape, or false claims of Rape? It seems that most claims of rape turn out to be hoaxes.
Rape used to be a hard crime to prove. And for a very good reason.
None of which is intended to deny that rapes happen, or to excuse the offender ... where the rape is REAL, and not just a convenient fiction to absolve a woman who lost control.
Campus police have jurisdiction. The real police wint respond.
Its about crime stats and keeping them low for recruitment.
The examiner blog rapes everyone who clicks on it with popups and obnoxious flash.

My question is why he gives "Coach Is Right" a pass every day.
