Reagan could see - way back in 1975 - that the Lib party was being corrupted. Now anyone can see the corrpution is complete. The Lib Party is as bad as the Democrats. The platform of the Litertarian party will tell you what libertarianism is about as well as the platform of the Republican party will tell you what a republic is.

To get to the weed. :-)Grows on both sides of the road where I am at the moment. Along with wild roses, strawberries, asparagus, alfalfa, oregano, careless weeds and Johnson grass.
I guess you could get rid of all that if you wanted to coat the country with Agent Orange.

Example, please? I don't have any idea what you're talking about. Many conservatives argue that drug prohibition is necessary to prevent addicts from becoming moochers. A libertarian response would be that were it not for the leftist insistence on supporting people who (whether because of a drug habit or for some other reason) have no motivation to work, drug addicts wouldn't be able to become moochers. Further, seeing what drug abuse would do to those who couldn't mooch off others would be more effective than prohibitions at curbing drug abuse.
To be sure, some people who hop on the pro-legalization bandwagon want to be able to use drugs while mooching off others, and wouldn't be so keen on legalization once welfare reforms were put in place first, but people who are philosophically libertarian are no less opposed to the idea of drug abusers mooching off society than are conservatives.
