New Zealander Trevor Loudon has just published an encyclopedic new 689-page volume, The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress, to accompany his 668-page 2011 book, Barack Obama and the Enemies Within.
In both volumes, Loudon has proved himself to be among the foremost experts in the world investigating and reporting the penetration of communists, socialists and the current group of progressives affiliated with Democratic Party politics who portray themselves as liberals.

Well, America HAS BECOME the USSA, don’tcha know?
That is why I am not going to return.
With zer0. Head Marxist in charge. And a darn good islamofascists ta boot.
Most of them.
>>"In the House of Representatives, Loudon profiles the radical left background of Democratic Party Reps. Nancy Pelosi, Louis Gutierrez, John Conyers, Charles Rangel, Marcy Kaptur, Peter DeFazio, Sheila Jackson Lee, Jim McDermott ."<<

Well, ya know, ole Obama DID promise to protect from all enemies “foreign and domestic” during his swearing in program, right?
We just did not realize HE understands that phrase to mean against all of HIS enemies: whether foreign (Israel and UK) or domestic (white, republican, capitalistic, Christian, male ...).
So why do you waste your time hanging out with us lowly Americans?
Thank you!
“So why do you waste your time hanging out with us lowly Americans? “
_____________________________________________________
Because I am a not so lowly American as you seem to consider yourself. Like the rest of the expat FReepers on here, I have great respect for the freedom that I have to explore the world. You and your waku pal might try it sometime, instead of being the “dogs in a manger”. Your siting on here and grousing at me all day is doing nothing to save the USA.
Now, go get your own life. This is my final reply to you.
So you hang here to point out all that we are dealing with in America? What kind of motive is that?
I’ve read your snarky comments for years and seriously dude, get a life. If being an expat is the best thing you do in the life, then go forth and enjoy. It would be far more decent of you not to make such arrogant comments. Maybe there are those of us who cannot just leave and go ‘explore the world’.
Seems to me you need to get out more, you sure spend alot of time posting your jabs here.
I see you totally stumbled over that bit of faux self deprecation I posted. I think you know what I really meant.
No, I don't appreciate people like you who sit in countries far away from your original homeland, pontificating on OUR affairs.
What goes on here no longer affects you. You're a foreigner now, and I'll treat you as such, every time I see you sneering at my countrymen.

Let’s stop the arguing and get back to the book that is being reviewed by WND columnist Jerry Corsi.
This is Trevor Loudon’s second book on exposing the largely unreported, unexposed Marxist webs of subversion that have been quietly growing across America since the 1920-30s, then again in the 60’s-70’s, and then reformed in the 1980’s with a new approach, tactics, leaders, and links between the Old Left (CPUSA, SWP) and the New Left (SDS/Weathermen, NAM, IPS, Socialist Scholars Conferences, New Party, the Chicago Movement, and others on the marxist Left (as well as including dupes and sympathizers from the Democrat Liberal Left).
What he reviews is an unrelenting, tireless series of Left generational organizations and movements efforts to subvert the free enterprise system, our Constitution, and our aversion to Communism, Marxism, and/or socialism (all being different names for the same marxist objectives).
By focusing on the reds in Congress, Loudon has done something on a grander scale than anything before him, including the privately produced ‘Communists in the Democratic Party’, by Concerned Voters, Inc., 1990.
By not only documenting the “affiliations” of the mainly Democrats in Congress with the marxist Left, Loudon has also given the reader a behinds-the-scene look into how the Left has been quietly operating, 24/7, to infiltrate, undermine, and eventually to gain control of the American political system (75-80 members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, out of over 435 members, is quite an accomplishment, plus having others who support them on specific issues).
Those exposed run the gamut from the old-line Communist Party USA members/associated clique (which included, over time, John Conyers, George Crockett Jr., Alan Cranston, Ted Kennedy, Bella Abzug, Augustus Hawkins, Ted Weiss, The Burton Brothers, Don Edwards, Hugh DeLacey (Panetta’s buddy), Charles Porter, Barabara Lee, etc), to newer radicals of all stripes (Sinema, Schakowsky, Kuchinich, Honda, Chu (RCP), Ellison (Moslem leftist), Sheila Jackson-Lee, etc).
Loudon also shows how certain marxist organizations have common ties to many members of the Democrat Left in Congress, including the National Lawyers Guild (the CP’s old legal arm), the Center for Constitutional Rights (the CP’s newer NLG split off), the Institute for Policy Studies (founded with both New Left and Old CP money, and run by both), the Democratic Socialists of America (Cloward-Piven followers, New American Movement members, Socialist Scholars Conference participants, and the former Democratic Socialists Organizing Committee members), what you could call the “Alinskyite” movement, and individuals from the CPUSA who crossed all these lines from being CPUSA members (Quentin Young - CPUSA, the godfather of Obama’s “Obamacare”; Milton Cohen - CPUSA; Alice Palmer - CPUSA affiliated; Bill Ayers, SDS/Weathermen; Tom Hayden, Carl Oglesby, , many of whom formed “Progressivees for Obama - more details in Trevor’s earlier book - etc).
Add to Loudon’s two books the three by Paul Kengor, the works of Aaron Klein, Steven Powell’s pioneering work on the IPS (1987) and the new one coming out this fall by several other authors, plus Collier & Horowitz’s “Destructive Generation”, the “Old Left, New Left” by Ron Radosh, and the collective works on Communism by Romerstein, Breindel, Khlers, Haynes (all writing about the Venona Papers, among other subject), and Mitrokin, plus several others, you now have, for the first time in modern American history, a very comprehensive inside look into Communism in America, in Congress, in the State Department (Stan Evans works on Sen. McCarthy (”Blacklisted by History”) and the newly released Evans/Romerstein “Stalin’s Secret Agents”), and in American society in general.
Trevor Loudon, once a New Zealand baker and local politics student and activist, has come to America to do the investigative research on our marxist Left that the American newspapers have refused to do for decades. What he has found not only shocked him regarding our abject ignorance of what the communists were doing quietly underground and in the shadows, but also the degree to which they have infiltrated every segment of society, from Congress to the White House (he exposed Valerie Jarrett’s Vann Jones to the world), the media, academia, cultural society, Hollywood, and even the military.
He is the 21st Century’s “Paul Revere” to America, shouting out that the enemy is now only coming but is well entrenched already.
The question is whether anyone is listening anymore, or has the enemy so demoralized, subverted, and propagandized us to the point that our minds are mush, ready to be further brainwashed to the point that our will to live as free men and women is gone.
Just look at the White House and Congress, read Trevor’s books, and some of the others, and the answer will scare the hell out of you.
“What goes on here no longer affects you. You’re a foreigner now, and I’ll treat you as such, every time I see you sneering at my countrymen.”
Yes, Alex acts like he was so smart to leave. He also says he hasn’t sent in a completed US income tax form as he has roamed around the world. So, he removed himself from this country completely and therefore has nothing to contribute to this forum - he has no connection to this country any more - one might say he is a fake citizen. Reader, what happens to you if you don’t send in a completed tax return? Even if you owe nothing, you still have to do that. If you are not a citizen, you don’t have to send one in. Perhaps Alex gave up his US citizenship.
New Zealand used to have 84 seats in the ir Parliament..
One seat near Auckland (OR-kland) was the communist party called Social Credit
Balderdash. If you get something this simple wrong, why am I am believe anything you state or opine? You are intellectually lazy and worse, spout wrong information. This is not an ad hominem attack on you, just an observation, so don't bother hitting the abuse button. Just check that your ideas match the facts, it is so easy to do.
If he's not going to stand here with us and face the beast, then he's got no standing to comment on our travails. Especially when he's sitting half a world away, where none of this can hurt him.
I think it's arrogant in the extreme for someone who's not even close to the fight - someone who's so far removed from any danger this group faces, to sit here bloviating about situations that can't touch him.
It's as bad as Obama telling ordinary, hard working Americans, what they should and should not do with their lives. That man has never lived as real people do, and has no right to lecture us on anything.
“I think it’s arrogant in the extreme for someone who’s not even close to the fight - someone who’s so far removed from any danger this group faces, to sit here bloviating about situations that can’t touch him.”
I agree. What risk is he running while we brave keyboard warriors fearlessly and at the risk of great peril, Carpal Tunnel for example, or ticking off the wife if you spend too many hours a week Freeping.
OK that’s all the time I can spare, back to the battle lol.
Advance to the rear.
“...That is why I am not going to return....”
Well, THAT’S no loss.
Woof Woof!!! From Your Local Dog In A Manger
It’s best you stay there; you’ve made yourself profoundly unwelcome here.
Yeah, we Freepers all live in gated mansions, with armed private security, unlimited funds, and politicians of both parties in our back pockets.
Obama can't touch us!
Ut oh, not sure who that is aimed at?!
“...Ut oh, not sure who that is aimed at?!...”
Not at you AllAmericanGirl44.
At AlexW.
This is a continuation of an argument across several different threads...
We’re the “Official Dogs In A Manger Crew” to Alex....
Woof!!!
He doesn’t like us very much...
When a comment is addressed to several individuals, it’s primarily intended for the first person on the addressee list.
bttt
I wonder how many RINOs are on that progressive/socialist list.
I'm sure he probably thinks he wait out the storm, fat, dumb and happy, in his Philippines sh*thole. But when our economy collapses once and for all, taking the world economy with it, he and his fellow "expat" chickens are going to be the #1 scapegoats in a country filled with drugged-up Muslims. Unaffected? It'll be worse for him than any of us, and he doesn't even realize it.
As Duncan said on a different thread a few days ago...when I go, at least it'll be on American soil, surrounded by several dozen empty cartridge cases. It won't be from a dull, rusty machete in a 3rd world sh*thole pineapple grove.

Nah... our boy will just up and ....”expatriate” ... from there too if things get hairy. Seems to be a pattern.
Woof Woof!!! Your Local Dog In A Manger (I’d be the Rottweiler, by the way)...
Alexw, in his private life, has shown himself to be very weak at thinking things through and planning ahead.
There’s going to come a time in the next few years when promises that were made on an industrial scale worldwide over the period of generations will be broken on an industrial scale worldwide over a period of months.
That period will be profoundly unpleasant.
“Murkins” will be hated worldwide; to a certain extent, even here.
I’d rather be here among at least a few friendly faces.
Thank you, I kinda figured, just wanted to be sure!
Thank you for the info. Why does someone who doesn’t like us, come poking around here?! lol
The dog-in-the-manger metaphor seems to be generally defined as “a person who selfishly withholds from others something useless to himself”.
I do not think it means what AlexW thinks it means.
It reminds me of the scene in “Porky’s” where (I don’t remember the character’s names) the Jewish kid tells the biker kid “It’s not ‘kite’, it’s ‘kike’. You’re too dumb to even be a good bigot”.
Ma’am, some people are so plain miserable with their own lives that they just can’t help being buttheads (and I’m being kind there).
This fool is a prime example. This isn’t the first thread with him.
I read about that, too, the dog wouldn't eat the grain in the manger and kept others from eating it.
That doesn't fit me nor preppers I know on this forum and others. If I couldn't use something and others needed it, they could have it. In my preps, I have extra supplies and food for those who I would help. I planned for that and spent money to get those items so others could have them. Alex is wrong.
Very true. I’ve read enough of his stuff and always just moved on from it, but this one just hit a chord.
Yep, seems some people just aren’t really happy unless they are able to poke someone, never understood that use of energy!
Yeah, I looked it up...it's an Aesop's fable. Shame on me for not being up on ol' Aesop...I haven't read any of his stuff since elementary school.
You're right...I don't think it means what Alex thinks it means, because we're not begrudging him his cowardice, we're merely calling him on it. He can be a chickensh*t all he wants, and given that yellow streak running down his back, I'd rather not have him around when the fun starts, anyway.
I'm not sure if it's something that Gen. George S. Patton actually said, but I love the line from the movie, "My sole purpose was to try to restore in him some sense of appreciation of his obligations as a man and as a soldier. 'If one could shame a coward,' I felt, 'one might help him to regain his self-respect.'" Maybe that's all we can do...shame a coward into appreciating his obligations as an American. I doubt it, but just maybe.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
“...shame a coward into appreciating his obligations as an American...”
I think that particular horse left the barn a long time ago, wku... with a contrail behind it.
