The RINO King. Why don’t tubs of pig vomit like this puke just go Democrat? Why they got to commandeer the Republican name? This is exactly why we need a new party, because the cancer in the Repub party is too far spread. A new one need to be started, call it “The actual Republican party”

This is pure political spectacle on Christie’s part. There is no substantive evidence that homosexuality is genetic, and the evidence is heavily on the side of it NOT being genetic. That means it is a learned, nurtured behavior.

To say that no one can help these poor souls escape some prior coercion that opened them to a behavior that will kill them a decade or two earlier than the larger population is an abomination.

Christie might think he’s playing to some libertarian streak in the republican party, but I guarantee you that they, too, know this is a destructive behavior.

Some have evidence that alcoholism/addiction also has some genetic component.

Will Christie sign a bill that forbids treatment of alcoholics/addicts?

He is a total idiot!

Any remaining delusions of conservatism with regard to Christie should have completely evaporated with this move.

I cannot see him repudiating any marriage redefinition bill that crosses his desk now. How can he, when he admittedly sees homosexuality as inborn and “not a sin?” Wait for a full-on assault by the Gaystapo legislature to pass a new one quickly.

So, people who were molested as children and pursued homosexuality due to the resulting confusion, should not be counseled?

By the way Guv, does it bother you that 80% of homosexuals were molested as minors?

Or, do you believe 100% of homosexuals were “born that way”?

Because you see Guv, if only 1% were NOT “born that way”, you are now denying them treatment.

No, but I’m sure he’ll see that the state foots the bill of every inmate who wants to mutilate their genitals and undergo “gender reassignment surgery.”

Actually the libertarians will be even more bothered by Christie's actions. Regardless of what anyone thinks about a particular form of talk therapy, what right does the government have to ban it? Put another way, shouldn't a psychologist and a patient be able to talk about anything they want to behind closed doors?

To the maximum extent possible, outside of fraudulent activities, why should government limit what medical treatments people can seek? Particularly when the activities involved are essentially just speech.

When the u-toob vid of lardboy bashing the teachers union thugs came out a bunch of folks immediately started singing his praises. Their wishful thinking projected onto him attributes he’s never had. They were looking for a hero to rescue them from the leftist cesspool and felt (instead of thinking) that he was the one. Christie isn’t a conservative - heck he’s only nominally a Republican!

But prepare to be disappointed - the good citizens of New Jersey will back him again. What other choice do they have? In order to support and vote for conservatives conservatives have to run. And (like in my own state) I see very few bothering.

When I was a kid it was against the law to try and turn a teenager into a homosexual, now it is illegal for even his therapist to try and help him stay normal.

This very typical lefty-liberal. They talk about being free to be whoever you are, but really they have a very “set in stone” idea of what that is.

If someone wants to change their ways, for whatever reason, they will not let you under force of law!

This is why I am against all regulations by the FedGov - no matter what the intent, regulations seem to always push the leftist agenda.

Thinking about it more - morality doesn’t need legislation, but immorality does. Odd, isn’t it.

This fatass bastard is a liberal democrat who has finally came full circle. I have heard him speak before about being a “catholic”. He says he does not agree with the Catholic Church’s position that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered .” They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life”. Gov. Donut thinks you are born queer and there is no getting around it. He thinks trying to get someone to change is a waste of time. He also thinks it’s perfectly fine for sodomites to adopt and raise children, once again going against the teachings of the Catholic Church. He also believes in selective abortion, thinking is fine to murder a child in cases of rape, incest and life of the mother. Typical RINO talk. And this POS calls himself a Catholic. He’s no better than Nancy Pelosi as far as sticking his middle finger up to the Catholic Church.

I think the most intelligent and consistent libertarians would be bothered by Christie’s actions. However, many people say they’re libertarian because they’re pro-pot or some other issue without thinking it through. Bill Maher said he was a “libertarian for Ralph Nader” which is the ultimate oxymoron if ever there was one.
