Chicago-area Egyptians led a protest outside their country's consulate in Chicago Friday, saying they want the violence to end and freedom restored where so many of their family members live.

They march in the shadow of the Egyptian consulate on Michigan Avenue, denouncing the military that is now running the country, protesting the loss of freedom and democracy. Protests that some say might get them killed like hundreds of their countrymen if they were in Egypt.

"I wish I could do something more," said protester Manan Khalal. "If I were there I might be dead now because I support them."

Hundreds of protesters and police have been killed this week alone in Egypt as demonstrations have turned into violent clashes, while the military tries to silence those who oppose them. Friday, 52 civilians and eight police officers are killed.

"They're being gunned down while they're peacefully protesting," said protester Suhair Hannoun. "It's the least we can do to show them we feel their pain."

They march through the River North area, spreading word that they condemn the military government.

Sounds like all of these protesters need to be watched closely. They will be big problems in the near future.

Send these “Brotherhood,” bums back to Egypt and let them enjoy the fruits of true democracy and freedom.

The Egyptian military should start a donation program in America to allow Americans to buy it bullets. I know I’d donate. The more fundamentalist zealots it kills in these protests, the better.

Well, by golly, I’ll grab my guns, load up my pickup truck and head that way way for you and your pals. Send me money, I might need some gas money.

Stupid people! It seams that they have no idea how important it is for the military to win for Egypt to even have a slight chance of Freedom, democracy and peace. For I fear a brotherhood victory will result in a curtain of tyranny across what is left of Egypt.

denouncing the military that is now running the country, protesting the loss of freedom and democracy.

So, in reality, these "protesters" (probably paid for by CAIR) do not know what is really happening in Egypt.

A real "news" media would ask them if they are aware of the unconstitutional moves by Morsi that really led to the loss of "freedom and democracy" and brought out the protests against him.

If these sons of dingos storm the Chicago PD, kill the chief and his deputies and drag their naked bodies through the streets of Chicago- and burn dozens of Christian churches with parishioners inside to boot- then they too might experience the martyrdom of the “peaceful brothers” in Egypt
