Right, and when the manager interviews, make the expectations very clear.
One, you will show up for work. You will not walk out, even once.
And do not expect this to become a career job unless you show management potential.
Do it. There’s lots of people waiting to have your jobs.
Drop the hours of striking workers to no more than 5 hours per week - the worst shift available. Hire additional workers to cover the other available hours.
That's the attitude.
I know it is not the case, but it seems like many here are standing in solidarity with those walking out, punishing the fast food establishments for those on walkout.
Cooking is an unwinding activity, a great hobby. Baking Bread, Smoking Brisket, all of it.
Chik-fil-a, every day.

I have & I will continue to do so in the future. I call for the manager & I tell them why I am leaving without doing any transactions, then I leave.
I have done so at fast food places—Taco Bell because no one spoke English while I was standing there deciding....
Big 5 because the kids were too busy talking & they all had faces that couldn’t pass a metal detector.
I left over $80 worth of purchases on the counter & left the store—never to go back—after telling the manager why.
If they walk out, will I still be able to drive-thru?
