Alorah Gellerson loves her three-month-old son.
"He's a really good baby. He's always happy. He likes to eat," she said.
But what baby Carson eats has caused a lot of trouble for this 17-year-old mother.
When the baby didn't take to breastfeeding, Gellerson started feeding him homemade goat milk formula.
"Oh, he loved it," Gellerson said. "We put celery juice in it, and he just loves that, and it worked really well with his body, and he grew like a weed."
But when her doctor reported this to the Department of Health and Human Services, things got messy.
"She came in and threatened to take him away and put him in foster care until I complied to go to the doctor and get him seen."
Gellerson, who receives state benefits, says she has complied with all of the mandates from DHHS, including numerous doctor visits, an overnight hospital stay, and even switched over to store-bought formula to please them. But she says the state is still not dropping it.

Exactly. A couple of horny teenagers fooling around, and now we taxpayers get to pay for their irresponsibility. You take the king’s shilling, you gotta dance to his fiddle. If the baby’s father is so great, why doesn’t he marry the baby’s mother and support his family? Give it a couple years, she won’t even know him and she’ll be on to the next baby daddy.
Would the generation that created the America we seek to preserve, have tolerated this imposition in any way, shape or form?
Do these bureaucrats, and those who encourage them, have any clue as to how a healthy society functions?

Goats milk is probably better for the child anyway. Study cited here followed a couple of studies in Europe and apparently validated by subsequent studies...

I have two minds on this one.
One says, "Well beyotch, you're on the government dole taking away my tax dollars, so when you take the government money (my tax dollars) you lose your rights.
The other recoils in horror at government intrusion into what is a parental responsibility & God given right to raise one's child as they see fit, free from Government interference.
Given this Government and Administration's insistence in interfering in every aspect of our lives, I'm done recoiling in horror. See, this is why every single one of these dirty scum-bucket SOB's needs to be hauled out, tarred, feathered and hung by their necks. Period.

Those nazis will torment anyone they can get their hands on. I have counseled more young mothers than I can remember anymore. Every time...every single time the state apparatchik get involved, they overstep and abuse their power, like cats playing with mice, until they mysteriously tire of their games.
