Fundamentally, I do not have a problem with the police trying to mitigate a traffic hazard. What bothers me is the double standard: if these folks had been protesting the Trayvon verdict, they’d have gotten a pass.

Oh, you mean like political campaigning in black churches that is strictly forbidden in Whitney's churches?

so all those flags on overpass’ after 9/11.....just how many problems did they cause? Some people just have open their piehole when they ought to shut up.

If you’re a Leftist, it’s ok. The Milwaukee Leftist police chief Flynn doesn’t mind if you support Leftist causes on overpasses or in the streets (illegal aliens on the south side). But try to promote conservative causes, and you’ll get arrested.
If these guys get a few more people, the police will leave them alone. This is classic civil disobedience; the violation of a minor law to promote a moral principle-free speech.

Yeah, you’re right. It’s exactly the same thing as hanging a flag. Just curious. How long does it take you to read an American flag?

Sorry to learn that a fellow conservative/patriot having a slightly different opinion than yours causes you such distress.

Yeah, too bad they shut off the camera before getting pictures of the arrestees being marched naked into gas chambers, right?

Geez, I expected disagreement, but I thought most Freepers tended to be a little less reactionary with their fellow conservatives.

Wierd-I wonder why the Trayvon thug protestors who shut down entire highways were not arrested?

“The soft tyranny is getting harder.”

This is the result of conservatives sitting on their fat asses and not getting involved in local politics.

First, organize, vote and elect a constitutional sheriff in your county. That takes away the power of the political state police.

Next, get your VFW and American Legion posts involved with flooding local city, village and county council meetings and demanding that the cop harassment stop. We fired two police chiefs in my area.

Until you conservatives get off your fat asses and start organizing, expect police abuse.

The two were arrested, he said, for failing to obey.

The country is’going to heLL in a handbasket’ and you are in ‘such distress’ about how peaceful protesters are trying to draw attention to the fact. Tell me; what do you think of the Boston Teaparty?

A few years ago Missouri police were pulling over vehicles with stickers considered “disparaging” of Democrats. Apparently the Pendergast political machine is alive and well.

This is selective enforcement. The “occupy” maggots were invited by democrat administrations to occupy public places, and to defile them, and the lice-infested lowlifes were not arrested in most places.
