Prosecutors on Tuesday charged two teenagers accused of gunning down an Australian student in Oklahoma for the “fun of it” with first-degree murder, and a third teen with being an accessory.
Officials say 22-year-old Christopher Lane, who was visiting the U.S. on a baseball scholarship at East Central University, was jogging along a road in Duncan, Okla., after visiting his girlfriend on Friday when he was shot in the back, allegedly by the teens.
Terri Moore from the Stephens County Courthouse says 16-year-old Chancey Allen Luna and 15-year-old James Francis Edwards Jr. were charged as adults with first-degree murder. Both are being held without bond.
Bond was set at $1 million for 17-year-old Michael Jones, who allegedly drove the vehicle carrying the other suspects. He was charged with the use of a vehicle in the discharge of a weapon and accessory to murder after the fact. Jones is considered a youthful offender but will be tried in adult court.

Probably not, they will get the good ole non adult treatment and head on in to the greater halls of education. Just like the rest of those that have been doing it fro years. That is why colleges are no longer a real place to go for the education and getting a chance to become a responsible adult.

I find this absolutely amazing. It's a new page in the "journalist's" stylebook: "Find the WHITE angle and beat it into the ground."
On the local NBC news tonight the shooting was mentioned, but there was not a thing mentioned about the color of the killers and no pictures were shown. However, right after that there was a school shooting threat mentioned and they showed the white guy involved with that.
The “white” kid is a Halfrican. Not that it matters. What I want to know is where Al and Jessie are.

I think it may have been the 15 year old who owned the gun. He had apparently started going bad and had just had a court date that morning.
No way can a 15-yr. old own a handgun legally. Did they steal it or just borrow it from babyDaddy...stay tuned.
None of them were old enough to have bought a gun legally.
I would doubt that he acquired in any way that was even remotely legal. He probably got it on the street somewhere, since he was evidently a wanna-be gang-banger.
