Precisely the right takeaway from this morning’s news about the Benghazi Four’s reinstatement, and for precisely the right reason. There were so many strands of possible wrongdoing related to the Benghazi attack — manipulation of the CIA talking points, scapegoating of the Mohammed moviemaker, lost opportunities for military action, alleged CIA intimidation of agents, and DOJ paralysis in pursuing the culprits — that the most fundamental wrongdoing, the catastrophic lapse in security for the consulate, was often overlooked. Maybe that’s a function of its comparative lack of sex appeal; the other elements all suggest intentional ass-covering government malfeasance while the security lapse was more likely due to egregious negligence. And yet that egregious negligence has never been fully explained, despite testimony from whistleblowers that people as high up as Hillary’s right-hand woman, Cheryl Mills, intervened personally to make sure people involved weren’t speaking too freely. An ambassador got killed, as did three other Americans, and as of today the White House hasn’t seen fit to sacrifice even a low-level staffer over it. Either there was something so sensitive happening at the consulate or at the CIA annex that the feds didn’t want to call attention to it by installing a showier security presence or this really was a mind-boggling security vacuum in the heart of Libyan jihadistan despite repeated pleas from Chris Stevens himself to provide more muscle to protect U.S. diplomats. No one’s been fired, no one’s been suspended, no one’s been fined. Mistakes happen. Next.
Tapper usually plays things straight enough as a reporter that it’s hard to detect his feelings about a subject. Not here. Pure incredulity, start to finish. That’s where we’re at with the most transparent administration ever.

Absent from the list is: just exactly what was going on at Benghazi? Was there a gun-running operation? Were arms being supplied to Al Qaeda in Syria?
The answer to this question is why nothing is being done.

At this point our country is responsible because it’s true, we are.
That our wimpy government doesn’t care about our diplomats doesn’t change the fact that they were killed, in country, on duty.
The locals as well as the world sees it.
They know what happened like any half awake high schooler.

Why were there 30+ CIA guys in Benghazi?
The cover-up is so massive, the operation must have been something completely outrageous. Like sending Ghaddafi's anti-aircraft missiles to Al Qaeda in Syria.

There are many reasons nothing is being done.
1. The largest and most inexcusable reason is that the Media is in protect the President and Hillary mode.
2.The next in importance is that Boehner the man with authority to investigate and appoint a special Counsel is in the same mode.
3. We all know the truth it is no secret. It is all about weapons. Who we were smuggling them to, who authorized the smuggling, the CIA was there in force, if the truth comes out the Obama administration is done, and Hillary’s run for President is over.
In actuality this should lead to impeachment, and for any white President it would.
Boehner’s dirty, that’s why nothing is happening.
As recently as ~2 months ago these people openly wanted to arm Syrian “rebels” - who are Al Qaeda.
The top levels of our government openly wanted to arm our enemy. Out in the open Treason. There is every indication that this is what was going on at Benghazi.
They are ALL guilty which is why NOTHING is being done. Massive blatant Treason.
Impeachment of Obama; imprisonment of Obama, Clinton, Boehner... at the least.
John-boy runs block for Obama all the time. He’s certainly not going to allow any effective investigation of Benghazi when he himself is a party to this monstrous crime.

Everyone in this country is going to pay the price for what was allowed to happen there and the fact that nothing was done about it.
Where is the outrage?

Bingo! And I might add, when people on our side continue to miss this main point or gloss over it in order to protect senile old hawks like McCain, chances are good that this country is thoroughly and utterly screwed.
I would like to go even further...who or what lame brain think tank thought that arming Islamists and the Muslim Brotherhood throughout the Middle East was a good idea first? Was it CAIR or some infiltrated agency in the government?
In the end, EVERYONE will be held responsible. It’s called Judgement time.
