It is bloody hard to raise a good kid in a sick culture, and there is always the chance that they aren't where they said they would be, doing what they said they would be doing.
If yours never stray from that, you are truly blessed.
If they do and you catch them before some sick crap goes down, count yourself lucky.
At some point, though, they make their own decisions, and any parent who is a decent person will be unhappy about the bad choices their children make.
Should they be put up on charges? Really?
ONLY if they actively contributed to their child's delinquency--and I'd bet that that is a minority.
This is a Black Rage/Zimmerman Ping List to cover the aftermath of the GZ trial and archive the RELATED incidents. Let me know. And please add "blackrage" to the keywords if appropriate. Click the link for anything you might have missed. Thank you.
Yes, they should, as a matter of routine. Consider it encouragement to be sure 100% of the time or better yet, keep those kids at home, in sight, with you, where you can be actually sure, not happy-delusionally-sure, of what they’re doing.
Pretty hard for even a bad kid to get into much trouble if they’re at home under supervision like they should be.
We need a national conversation on the best way to apply RICO laws to stomp down on all lawless gangs, bloods, crips, MS-13

If the parents are not part of the solution, they are THE PROBLEM—particularly if the kids are minors. Yes, they do have a duty to keep them in line and should be held responsible for their actions.
