I agree. Assad has been winning the war recently. He would not have initiated such an attack, especially just when the EU inspectors arrived on the scene. This looks be an example of rebel staging and disinformation. If children were indeed killed, then they were probably killed by the rebels.

You must ask yourself, who stands to benefit by such an atrocity? Only the rebels. They are attempting to draw in active US support, something BHO wants to do but needs a casus belli. This is the rather obvious attempt to provide it.

Exactly. AlQuaida's got nerve gas, and refugees and anyone else are able to leave Syria with it.
