Obama: Republicans privately 'agree' with me
CNN ^ | Aug 23, 2013 | Dan Merica and Bryan Koenig

Posted on 08/23/2013 10:25:09 AM PDT by Innovative

President Barack Obama argued some Republicans secretly side with him on wanting to avoid a government shutdown, but they're afraid they may face backlash from the conservative right.

"Sometimes they say to me privately, 'I agree with you, but I'm worried about a primary from, you know, somebody in the Tea Party back in my district,' or, 'I'm worried about what Rush Limbaugh is going to say about me on the radio,'" Obama said in an exclusive interview with CNN "New Day" anchor Chris Cuomo.

Obama and Holder are publicly speaking about their ‘plan of the week’ that are just more smokescreen distractions to divert attention away from the incompetent manner Obama has handled his day job.

The best indicator of a PHONY ADMINISTRATION is the number of its REAL SCANDALS.

Commie Tyrant Obama’s current talking points are thus smokescreen distractions for the products of Obama’s first 4 years in office:
* Refusal to close US Southern Border to Mexican illegal alien invaders
* No known un-forged records of Place of Birth
* No known un-forged records of University grades
* Benghazi Massacre
* Dereliction of Duty as CIC during Benghazi Massacre
* Cover up of Benghazi Massacre
* Destruction of Seal Team Six
* Cover up of Fast and Furious murder of US Border Agent by Exec. Order
* IRS-Obama’care” Commune Death Grip on Wealth and Health
* NSA-Gestapo Death Grip on all citizen’s communications
* Use of Courts against News Media
* Use of Supreme Court to install Un-Constitutional Obama’care’ Tax
* Destruction of the US Coal Industry
* Refusal to permit XL Pipeline construction
* Trillion Dollar a year Federal Overspending
* Monthly violations of the US Constitution by Obama
* Use of Exec. Orders to bypass Congress.

REPLACE sniveling coward Speaker Boehner with a FIGHTER!

It is time to IMPEACH Tyrant B. Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro.
_______________________

Tyrant B. Hussein Obama, (aka Barry Soetoro), continues his unopposed efforts to expand Totalitarian Obamanation in Liberty-based America.

Where are the Republican opponents of Tyrant Obama?

Why have the Articles of Impeachment for Tyrant Obama not been issued by US House Speaker Boehner, or Pro-Welfare Republicans Cantor or Ryan?

Have House and Senate Pro-Welfare Republicans formed a cave-in pact with Pro-Welfare Democrats to protect Tyrant Obama?

The main thing that Speaker Boehner is afraid of is being blamed for doing his job.

Speaker Boehner’s job now is to shut down the NON-ESSENTIAL parts of the US Federal Government until Obama’care’ is ABOLISHED, however long that takes.

There, now I’ve met anecdotal straw man with anecdotal straw man.

Boner doesn’t want to shut anything down. It really doesn’t bother him that Obamacare is here, or that we’re broke and just cooking books and playing number games. It really doesn’t. He only looks at it like a political game and he does nothing because he can’t figure an upside for him anywhere. They are all scared of the race card because they don’t know how to deal with it. they are more afraid of press and democrats and losing the political game than actually doing something that would be right for the country.

Tell you what... I’ll agree with you on avoiding a government shutdown. How about you and your party stop holding the rest of us hostage to Obamacare. We’ll pass the CR without Obamacare funding, you sign it and the government doesn’t get shut down. What do you say?

Oh, right. If the Democrats don’t get their way and the government shuts down, it’s 100% the GOP’s fault. Forgot.

Whether some Republicans agree with Obama, publicly or privately, and to what extent, or on what issues, is absolutely immaterial to the question of whether Obama is right or wrong on any issue.

Why do so many remain stupefied by these tactics of evasion? The generations that launched America would have never tolerated this sort of drivel. Read some of the speeches in American politics before the 1850s. Politicians stated their premises in terms to which their audiences could relate based upon experience, and built logically structured arguments thereon.

"Some people agree with me," is the sort of argument that grade school children try with their parents, when asking for some special dispensation.

Pathetic! (Although I guess this whining approach is less dangerous than the one he uses, when he has American youth chanting slogans in unison, like the German equivalent, brought to rapture by their chief demagogue, in one of the latter's stadium speeches.)

Unfortunately, they are. It's the ones who DISAGREE who need to walk out of the Repubican party.

Starting with a big movement for all conservative Republican voters to UNregister as Republicans and register instead as Independents or Unenrolled. That would put the fear of God in a whole bunch of RINOs.

Obama is so far to the left, that even many Dems don’t agree with him, much less Republiclans.

But that doesn’t stop him from pursuing his agenda of turning this nation into one totally controlled by the government in every respect — as companies stop providing healthcare benefits, it will be provided by the government.

If they agree with you, then they are not Republicans..........

Being a "Republican" just means you are a member of a particular organziation that is chiefly interested in the acquisition of greater political power. It claims to hold a few principles in order to gain a base of support for their attempts to achieve greater political power. If greater power can be achieved by another set of principles, they will have a change of opinion.

If you want to see how the Republocrats work together to seal their monopoly of power, look at the voting system of Oklahoma.

There are many individual Republicans who are trully dedicated to the people (see Ted Cruz). The Republican Party has little to nothing to do with their individual qualities of leadership. Look at how the Republican Party treats Cruz and Lt. Col. Allen West.

Twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they were all alike. No question, now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

It’s not like a lot of liberals don’t agree with conservatives on many things. They have guns or guards while they try to take your guns away. They praise public education while they send their children to private schools, some with armed guards. They want Obamacare for you but a waiver from it for themselves. They want windmills and alternative sources of power, but the windmills better not be viewable from their East Coast compounds.

We went full Soviet in the 2012 elections.

Cook County went national.

They waited until GOP/Conservative counties’ votes were in - and in key states needed - Obama comes in with 100% of the vote and ‘wins’ the states needed to “re-elect him’. This after Obama and his media ‘crowned’ Romney as the ‘contender’ 2 years prior.

It’s all to keep an illusion in the minds of the people that they have a ‘choice’ in national elections.

We don’t.

The Ruling Class chooses for us and massages the ‘optics’ so as to continue the illusion we are a free republic.

We aren’t.

We now reside in a post-Constitutional dictatorial single-party tyranny, where the rule of law is whatever the emperor and the politburo says it is.

We’ve seen our last ‘honest’, ‘free’ and ‘open’ elections.

If history is a teacher, then under such an ideology now ruling us - mass misery and death are just around the corner.

The GOP-e thinks they will get to keep their seats at Obama’s table once it all shakes out. They have no idea what they are dealing with.

Or maybe they do - and they are willing to go along with it because like him, they want to ensure the feudal system they prefer is not disturbed.

He doesn't.

That's what Boehner and McConnell tell Obama 'privately'.

Which is why I call the GOP leadership our political Judenrats.

Some call them French Republicans; Vichy Republicans etc.

I contend they are worse than surrender monkeys. They are HELPING Obama destroy this country and attack Conservatives. They think they will have a seat at the table of power once the iron fisted MarxoFascist revolution is complete.

And for that, they help the Left herd Conservatives onto boxcars for political oblivion.

And then, one day - it will be for literal oblivion.

I read that LBJ enjoyed socializing with Republicans so he could boast of his bipartisan support. He was quite deferential to his old rival John Tower, often gave him rides to D.C. and Austin via Air Force One. He once told Tower, “John, you have done more for me on Vietnam than my whole damn party!” And he loved ol’ Everett Dirksen like an older brother. Of course, Ev caved when he was called upon to do so. Just like Ev’s son-in-law Howard Baker, and Baker’s successor, Bob Dole, and now the same ol’, same ol’ McC of KY.

LBJ's fixer and bag man, Bobby Baker, wrote a book in the early 1980’s that detailed LBJ's style in the Senate. Getting votes often entailed handing off satchels of cash to lawmakers. But he also had a great talent for persuasion on other levels. The Washington press corps always carried a resentment against Johnson because he wasn't JFK. LBJ was a political powerhouse who remains, at least for me, one of the most fascinating political figures in U.S. history.
