President Obama and his political allies have dismissed as "phony scandals" mounting evidence that the Internal Revenue Service and other federal agencies hindered and punished conservative advocacy groups. Meanwhile, efforts are under way to impose even more regulation on core political speech.
The government's abuses are very real, but the scandal's lessons are not appreciated: The federal regulation of political speech has already gone further than can be justified by existing law, let alone the Constitution.

The main thing that Speaker Boehner is afraid of is being blamed for doing his job.
Speaker Boehner’s job now is to shut down the NON-ESSENTIAL parts of the US Federal Government until Obama’care’ is ABOLISHED, however long that takes.
I bet somewhere the NSA is involved in this. Someone has to feed the IRS there information.
My questions is, who did the NSA collect data on, who requested it, and what was done with it?
Find the answer to that and you take down everyone.
I’ve asked this before but nobody seems to know - If an organization doesn’t get a 501C3 or 4 designation are you pretty much out of business? Do you have to pay tax on contributions as if they were income?
The true lesson is that scandals have no consequences in Washington. Maybe a little embarassment at being caught, but no real price to pay. Everyone in “the big show” still gets paid courtesy of the taxpayer.
