According to court documents filed in Savannah, Ga., all claims against the TV chef have been dismissed in the suit brought by former restaurant manager Lisa Jackson, with no award of costs or fees to any party. Jackson had sued on the grounds that the work environment at Uncle Bubba's Seafood and Oyster House, owned by Deen and her brother, subjected employees to sexual harassment and racial discrimination.
The news comes two weeks after a federal judge threw out the lawsuit's race discrimination claims, stating that though others may have faced that discrimination in the restaurant, Jackson could not sue since she was not one of the victims. Friday's agreement was filed with prejudice, which means Jackson cannot refile the lawsuit.

I didnt care that they turned on her.
One thing is certain, this site is certainly overflowing with that good ol' fashioned christian, conservative compassion...........LOL!
Actually, YOUR post is as dumb as a box of rox.
PD spent tons of money propping up stupid MOONBATZ causes.
Beautiful irony that the same MOONBATZ her money went to support, jumped up and BIT HER DUMB AZZ OFF.
But you wouldn't have any understanding of all that, wouldya, MOONBATZ?
PD was railroaded, this has been nothing more than a good old fashioned Jessie Jackson type shakedown. I don't deny that. Nor do I think PD "deserves" it.
Nonetheless, I can't find it in myself to feel all that sorry for a big lib. When you support fascists (who have been ruining our lives for a long time) and they screw you, well, that's just TS.
You understand? I'm not in favor of bad things happening to her. But when she aligns herself with and supports the bad people (which is what libs are) and they turn on her, no, compassion I don't have. I have compassion for the innocent. Liberals are not innocent.
Remember Martha Stewart? The ironies just abound.
Good for you! Deen and her problems are truly peripheral to the problems we all have that are being generated by the people she supports. To Hell with her.
I don’t think I’ll be able to keep this up. Just too many instances. I consider this a hate crime against Paula Deen.
Im starting a list from today to accumulate black on white crimes.
the guy in the white hut seems to be doing a really great job of bringing us all together and I just want to do my part to help out.
I guess this is racis or something. I dont really care what anybody thinks. It is just the facts.
Here is this weeks entry.
JUST THIS WEEK:
Just for starters. Just this week and the week aint over.
5-15-2013 Michael Daniels killed by gang of black youth in knockout game. I had to look a long time to confirm that the little juvenile darlings are black. They are and they will soon be out on the streets again. They were sentenced in “family” court to the lightest possible sentence on 8-23-13. They’ll be back in screwl in Syracuse, NY soon.
8-23-13 Racism related charges against Paula Deen dropped. Jackson, who made the charges gave a bizarre statement after the charges had been refused, with prejudice, by the judge: Jackson, who told TODAY in July that her lawsuit “has never been about the N-word,” but rather “to address Ms. Deen’s patterns of disrespect and degradation of people that she deems to be inferior,” suggested Friday that her issues with Deen had been settled.
“During a very difficult period in my life the Deen family gave me hope and the opportunity to work to build a brighter future for my family and me,” Jackson said in a statement to TODAY.
“I assumed that all of my complaints about the workplace environment were getting to Paula Deen, but I learned during this matter that this was not the case. The Paula Deen I have known for more than eight years, is a woman of compassion and kindness and will never tolerate discrimination or racism of any kind toward anyone. I now know that the workplace environment issues that I raised are being reviewed and will in the future no longer be at issue. I wish Ms. Deen and her family all the best in all of their future endeavors and I am very pleased that this matter has been now been resolved and can now be put behind us.”
The ruling may have come too late for Deen, who lost at least 12 lucrative business deals after her May 17 deposition went public, which included revelations that the TV chef had used the N-word and admitted planning a “plantation-style” Southern wedding.
8-23-13 Grandmother, Marjorie Ramondetta 93 and daughter Lynda Reynolds 65 pushed down stairs and robbed, Perp, Richard Davidson, caught. Looks awfully dark to me in the security videos.
8-20-13 Chris Lane in Duncan, Oklahoma, killed by two blacks and one white accomplice.
8-22-13 Delbert Belton in Spokane, Washington beat to death with flashlights by two blacks
8-23-13 Kansas City this morning where two blacks took random shots at cars on the freeway
8-23-13 or the charming homeland security employee responsible for buying ammo there.
The woman who brought charges in the Deen case is white.

That comment made me laugh, Leni!
And you are right about Paula Deen--she is not out of this by a long shot.
Best to you.
The only one I didn’t research. Didn’t she sound messed up from her statement?
frankly, Im not interested in defending the rights of a liberal Dimocrat against the very people shes supported with her money.
I would think since big names like the Food Network etc. dropped her prior to ANY proof or conviction, she might have reasonable claims to action against them.
This ultimately was a case of some pretty serious slander. I would not be surprised if there isn’t some sort of settlements forthcoming from the company’s that over-reacted to innuendo and rumor without proof.
Picking the wrong friends and having Karma bite you in the butt is one thing...
Picking the wrong friends and them breaking the law to destroy is a whole other matter.
Last I checked libel and slander are illegal.
As conservatives I would think we tolerate stuff in support of the law. In this case I think it would be appropriate to hold the ‘discrimination’ crowds feet to the fire for reacting to false accusations before a verdict of any kind was rendered.
We are a nation of laws or we are not.
